  1. I'm very glad to hear that the bastards were caught & I'm so sorry to hear of those who were unfortunate to have experienced this terrifying situation! Before I got to this page, I was going to ask whether Dazie & others could identify their school uniforms - as just previously mentioned/suggested by pommie, & to contact them aswell as the police, of course. It's very fortunate that this guy WAS wearing uniform! Although still, most teenagers do belong to a school, whether they attend it or not, so having a description definetly helps - they'd probably be identifyed quicker!
  2. There's a horrible Dentist further up Lordship Lane, so I think we could do with more...
  3. In a situation like this, you have every right to give her a piece of your mind! I can't believe the cheek of this woman lol. Unbelievable.

I agree with this 110%
  5. When I stop at a narrow path to let the other person through first, but they take their sweet time walking. Atleast a thank you or a smile wouldn't go a miss. I do have places to go myself, y'know... When drivers honk for no reason at all other than to give me a heart attack. It makes me want to scream. People who stare & you acknowledge this, but oh no... just carry on staring!! Being on a bus when someone's chewing/eating loud behind you or beside you (with crumbs flying in every direction!) coughing, sniffling... guys down the back with their music blasting (& for some reason, it always seems to be the same crappy music). People who orgasm over their food. Just eat the thing!! ... sorry. I recognize that I'm quite a negative person. It doesn't stop there.
  6. Somebody did this when I went to a restaurant with my mom. I was shocked! I just couldn't believe it. The food wasn't great. Infact, they had changed the menu without telling us beforehand (we had been going there occasionally on our shopping break) & the food was not what we expected & the price had gone slightly up. We were okay with that but please, the waiter giving themselves whatever tip they'd like from our credit card?!.... that's wrong.
  7. I know this man. I haven't seen him for about 10 years...I remember him. He used to go to the Pub up the top of Crystal Palace Rd. Nice man, lots of friends, very sweet dog.
  8. Sorry to bring up an old thread but as this happened around the time I had just bought a house on Hindmans Rd (late February) I was curious to whether anybody has seen him since/whether he was caught or not...?
  9. It's a very quiet area with a school nearby. I've walked these roads coming back from Warwick Gardens way in the evenings... it seems completely fine!
  10. Clearly you're not familiar with the goings on in Peckham...
  11. Somebody from ED or Nunhead could have well stolen them, but what I was getting at is that Peckham tends to attract the weird ones.
  12. There are some gorgeous houses in Peckham. Houses with original fire places (unlike most of them in East Dulwich that I have seen & are up for sale) & are suprisingly cheap. I guess it's just the area. As for Keston Road, it rings a bell but I can't say for sure I know where that is. Peckham is Peckham. Even East Dulwich isn't safe these days.
  13. Many of them are, but aparently these ones are not. Which suprises me, considering the area.
  14. ARGH! Peckham is full of vulgarness. You'd think of all places they'd have benches clamped into the ground.

I haven't read any of your previous posts. I only took notice when you decided to take a stab at my post. I was simply replying to the OP, I haven't come here to join a debate. What is wrong with you? You're reading my full list of posts because I simply implied that your stab at me was useless to this threads topic? Now you're accusing me of having a problem with you. You're making something out of nothing. Let it go. Said what I had to say... That's all. Bye.
  16. You don't knock on somebodys window. That's just creepy. Call the police!! The guy is clearly scrounging for money, that or even dangerous.
  17. OHMYGOD!!! Morag, It's so weird that you should bring this up! I was going to make a thread about this two weeks ago, it left me quite shook up & pissed off... I was on Northcross Rd, just about to cross that stupid area where Cristal Palace cuts through (there's a pub & a telephone box) had a crappy day & this woman on a bike & a little kid balancing infront came out from no where! She screamed at me, something like "look where you're going, stupid girl!" I was STUNNED. SHE is riding at full force with a kid (not even 5 years old) on the bike in the road & she's telling me to mind where I'm going?? It it even right that she should be riding this way?? The snooty cow!... I live on Hindmans Rd & I'm quite sure this is the same woman. STUPID COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I'm not even being dithery. I don't even know why I'm about to explain why, given that you just pooped out 7 posts of crap. Somebody has way too much time on their hands. The topic is about bars NOT coffee houses, otherwise I probably would have given out full blown attitude. I could bitch all day about the hippies of East Dulwich (& village).
  19. "I doubt there would be too many prams in bars on LL in the evening as the venues probably don't have a licence for that beyond 7 or 8pm, do they?" No, I suppose not. Actually, I had caf? Nero in mind & brought up a bad experience. I haven't had the time to check out this new bar. Anyway... Is it Boho or Hobo?
  20. "My pram won't fit through the door." EH, are you joking? "It's too noisy. It's not noisy enough." I'd rather silence than a stinking, screaming pram by my side whilst I'm trying to enjoy my meal or drink. Nobody should have to put up with that.
