  1. It's all that soccer. Makes you poms all jumpy like.
  2. Calm down folks. One and a half innings does not a five match serries make.
  3. How the fuck did you follow the cricket?
  4. Is that a bird? I can't tell her hand's in the way.
  5. I think it's a facebook thing.
  6. Being delicate and exotic one could say that there is much of the petunia about me. I am also buttoned of both nose and flies but alas, rich enough to shop at John Lewis I am not.
  7. Wouldn't that be, nom de clavier? Or somesuch.
  8. I'm not very up to date with this pop singer cellery shit so would someone please tell me what the connection between Jarvis Cocker and Michael Jackson is?
  9. Just might get that 400 after all.
  10. I don't think Englands quicks will be much better than Australia's. The wicket isn't doing much at all. I think spin may win the game for England. We know England's spinners are better than Australia's but the important question is, are they better than Australia's batsmen.
  11. Numbnuts!
  12. *Bob* Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Please Hugenot - remember the man did 'Thriller' > (27 years ago). Surely that's enough to condemn him to hell if the paedophilia thing isn?t.
  13. Andystar Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- . i was actually in > front of her & somehow, she managed to push her > way ( using her pushchair ) past me onto the bus ... What the fuck were you doing getting onto the bus in front of a lady in the first place?
  14. Well isn?t that nice for them. Funnily enough I was in the Walkabout a few weeks back* and I saw loads of Englishmen trying to get on top of Aussies. *Not by choice I might add.
  15. Don?t bother, I doubt you?re going to get much engagement by brining perspective into things. It?s my experience that people aren?t willing to explore the actual questions but give them, ?My Entitlement vs. My Liberal Ideology? they?ll argue for decades. They may even kill each other over it without ever being any the wiser to their stupidity.
  16. Tony.London Suburbs Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Its not raining on Channel Five where Mark > Nicholas has just reported from the sold-out > venue. Channel Five it is then. To hell with the BBC.
  17. Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Brendan, I get the impression that you're taking > issue with what I've said... and I'm not really > sure why. I?m not taking issue at all. I?m just trying to open the conversation up. Hoping that people might explore the topic more broadly and that we could move away from: Immigrants, should we or Shouldn?t we? Because the answers to and arguments for that question are already programmed into everyone depending on which pre-packaged belief system they currently buy into. I mean what are the chances of this moving out of one dimension or of us hearing anything we haven?t a million times before?
  18. Which countries would those be? The ones that should be taking people in, the ones that the people are coming from, the ones who are responsible for the predicaments that the countries people are "fleeing" from are in or those who are providnig them with aid?

Public funds are there for > the benefit of the society, and surely a family > have a greater need than a single man in his 20s. I think this is where the distinction between income tax and national insurance comes in.
  20. BBC says it's raining in Cardiff. Bastard BBC.
  21. Natural selection PGC, natural selection. The world has too many people anyway so the inability to make a simple deduction of causality or at least have some grasp of widely known colloquial wisdom are as good a grounds as any to determine those we can do without.
  22. I'm sure the beer in the Plough is free.
  23. I am of the opinion that Roger Federer should be captain of the England and Wales cricket team Ted.
  24. So you?re all going to be clambering around my pub again are you? Guess I will just have to join in. I?ve not been to a forum knees up for ages.
