  1. Well as 80% or more of the population of East Dulwich are clearly criminals why don?t we all do our bit by just smacking at least one person at random everyday? That?ll learn ?em. I?m starting this afternoon.
  2. actually got the code off Piers
  3. Well at least it was just a death threat and not something horrible like catching hubby hilt deep in the old goose green fair on the back seat of the Landy.
  4. LGWD? Large Goats With Diarrhoea?

As plausible an argument as any on this thread so far.
  6. Sounds pretty good apart from Kraftwork, Artic Monkeys and Madness.
  7. Very sensible ideology and one I can see much merit in but as an enquiring individual I cannot see it ever being realised through the perpetuation of the current two party state.
  8. wotcha.
  9. Blimey that?s what happens around here when Green and Blue run out of New World Sauvignon Blanc. If they ever dare, again.
  10. Thanks for the warning HAL Because text within a marquee is not always visible, it violates the basic nature of web pages, which are eminently skimmable Users typically glance over a page and decide what, if anything, to read (using headlines, bold text, bullets, etc.), but marquees, like the, hide text at certain points, meaning at any given time, scanning the page may fail (or take longer).Links within marquees are notoriously difficult to click, and users only get one chance every time it scrolls past. This can easily frustrate users.
  11. Sorry about sounding snide there but if you worked in the office that I do you would understand. I?m surrounded by some prominent members and a few quite vocal supporters of both parties and their incessant squabble drives me mad. I wouldn?t mind proper argument about how either of them can better serve the people but this disconnected bickering and point scoring stemming from lifelong indoctrination by parties turgid with dogma based on outdated ideology is of no good to anybody. They wouldn?t know what a normal member of the public was if it smacked them in the face, which may just happen one of these days.
  12. Don?t worry I doubt you?ve actually offended anyone. The facetiousness is just a built feature of this forum and one not to be taken too seriously. Personally I would say that they are so similar to each other that unless there is a school catchment issue it won?t make much difference.
  13. But once the conservatives are in power it will be good and proper for them to do the same.
  14. I would just like to say congratulations England, world champions, holders of the Ashes and now 20-20 world champions too. Always said the best thing about England is the ladies.
  15. I?ll go out on a limb here and suggest that you buy the house that you prefer. If position means that much perhaps you should consider sleeping rough in St James Park. It?s a bit fresh in winter but you can?t beat it for location.
  16. Well we could just bring the Parthenon to Britain put its marbles back and set the whole bloody lot up in Dulwich Park. No acid rain and fewer British tourists clambering all about the place.
  17. Although I?m open to exploring a line of enquiry in which Australia is only a hypothesis.
  18. Not sure if this is going to work_____________________________________________________________________________oh look it did
  19. help help help help help help
  20. Oy, oy, oy, *holds hands up* dude don?t drag me into your capital punishment barney, I?m like so Switzerland on that one until someone notices the wood. I was just pointing out the flaw in a particular line of deduction. Word of the day for obfuscate though.
  21. No but unlike Canberra, morality isn't a fact.

Ergo, just because your view may be more > commonplace doesn't necessarily make it the > correct one. That argument doesn't hold up David and you know it. There is a difference between a statement of fact and an opinion on the morality and effectiveness of a mooted point. I?m pretty sure that was established by some guy who would probably have described himself as Athenian.
  24. You may get some of it on BBC world service.
