  1. What Jeremy said. Well that's the way I understood it anyway.
  2. ?Thank you for that Russell. Right, now folks I think that after Russell?s very enlightening presentation on the Statham Report it is clear that there are 3 things we have to do to meet the needs of a changing customer base. And those are; Stop, collaborate and listen!?

    Crushes

I think they?re all repressed and are using the forum as an outlet. I suggest locking them up in a small space and filling them with booze and ecstasy. That should sort it out.
  4. I don't feel it is for the players to have any say in the decisions making process. Use technology to get the right decision by all means but the players are there to play not get involved with the umpiring. Or to be all precious and cry about it when a decision goes against them for that matter.
  5. You?re all a bunch of deviants!
  6. What if you could force a draw if the game gets stopped and time, bad light or rain are threatening. You have 4 appeals left. So you appeal every decision the umpire makes, after mucking about for 5 minutes conferring with your wikky and vice captain etc.
  7. Yeah but it leaves the opportunity open for the players to manipulate the game. Here?s what I would do: All LBWs, stumpings and runouts are decided by the 3rd umpire. The 3rd umpire starts to make his decision as soon at the players appeal and then relays it to the on field umpire who informs the players. Catches can be referred to the 3rd umpire by the on field umpire on his discretion. Any funny business or argument from the players results in them getting publicly kicked in the pants by all the match officials after the game and receiving a warning letter from the ICC telling them to grow the fuck up.
  8. I don?t have a problem with technology being used but a proper decision should be made on it and it should be controlled by the umpire. So if they decide that all LBW decisions will be automatically determined by hawkeye and relayed to the umpire on a little walkie-talkie or something, then fine. What I don?t like is this business of the teams being able to ask for referrals to the 3rd umpire. Firstly they?re second guessing the umpire which shouldn?t happen. Next thing they will be openly arguing with them (like the mercenaries employed in that gambling pastime for feral miscreants that befouls our tv screens do) Secondly it causes unseemly hold-ups in the game while the captains appeal to the umpires like a bunch of whingeing schoolgirls. It?s a captain?s job to lead his team not try to manipulate the umpire. It?s a sport. In real sports you play the fucking game, you don?t question the fucking umpire. I don?t care how much money they?re being paid it doesn?t give a grown man the excuse to behave like a child in need of a hiding.
  9. Doesn't it just. Nasty.
  10. Silly buggery here we come. ...and not in a good way either
  11. I keep on reading the title of this thread as 360 boob shred and am then always a little disappointed when it?s only about breast and not skateboarding too.
  12. I?ve just been thinking about Thundercats and we all know where the whole Cheetarah thing comes from don?t we. It?s because she spent most of the first episode without her jimjams on. Proof that school boys aren?t the innocent cherubs their mothers make them out to be. Filthy little feckers the lot of ?em.
  13. Didn?t think you would be one to fancy a p? No Brendan. Put the Carry On humour down and step away from the keyboard. It?s not big or clever.
  14. Maybe some flock wallpaper and one of those standing lamps with the tasselled shades like your nan used to have.
  15. There is a lot that can be done with a candlestick a clock and a teapot, is all I?m saying.
  16. Well to be honest... No. She did wear very short pants but at that age I was more of a cheetarah man.
  17. Anyone remember a film called Cool World? Specifically the female lead, Holli Would? And Teela from He-Man?
  18. Not "quite a few" Tillie. I would say all.

  20. I know I really shouldn?t but I?ve always kinda fancied Jennifer Saunders.
  21. Apart from Freddy Mercury I have no idea who any of the people in this thread are. Amanda Patel? Is it bad that I have no clue who she is? James Murdoch? Just guessing here but I would assume he is Rupert?s son rather than some relation to the great Howling Mad.
  22. Someone?s nicked my headphones again so I can?t listen to that clip. Are these spiders poisonous? I?ve not seen these tube shaped webs before in the garden but we used to get a spider back home that spun tube shaped webs and could leave a nasty abscess if they bit you. They were white though with black fangs but looked a similar shape and size.
  23. I knew it. You read the Daily Mail showbiz section every morning.
  24. I did once meet an American girl who wouldn?t believe that I was South African. Not that she didn?t think I looked or sounded South African but she didn?t believe that there was such a place. She thought I was taking the piss. But anyway. That?s just an aside. They have ?tinterweb over there now. Surely they can just look this stuff up.
