No they haven't old boy. look:
  5. Yeah I know. It was one of the Wailers first EPs. It always takes me back to deeply stoned days on beaches in the Transkei listening to an old ratafarian's clapped out tape player. I quite enjoyed the Bosstones take on it though. They are one of those bands that always show little respectful Homages to their roots in their videos and songs. Like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVhBrSGjgYw Which is a bit specials or is that just madness?
  6. I would rather get a kicking from a few rent-a-cops than suffer this thread any longer.
  7. I had a calzone at Si Mangia that was so good I had to get up and do a little dance. Granted I hadn't eaten all day after being sent up to Coventry for work and it was supper time.
  8. Back on reggae I stumbled across this cover this morning. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Simmer Down
  9. Don't know about you mate but where I come from we don't hit women.
  10. It's Some Like it Hot. Me and the Mrs will probably head down but the weather looks iffy so will try to get tickets at the gate.
  11. I think they sell it at the plough. Is that the really strong one?
  12. Gabba Gabba Hey Gabba Gabba Hey They do look a bit like an Arian Ramones fan club.
  13. Brooklyn Lager is great. They used to sell it in Inside72.
  14. At the risk of discussing something that is actually worthwhile today. I am fast becoming a convert to Golden Ales. Not being someone to stick to one type of beer exclusively I often find myself at a loss when deciding what to order. When I can?t decided because of too much or lack of choice I normally default to Guinness but recently I have found myself seeking out golden ales as a summer alternative. I realise they were originally developed to lure lager drinkers back to ale but I think they have really developed their own character and can be seen a drink unto themselves now. I?m also probably an advertising whore because both Wells and Fullers have been pushing their product leaders at the moment with Waggle Dance and Honey Dew respectively. (I blame the ginormous Fullers advert on Denmark Hill station) They?re both very nice by the way.
  15. Aren't they supposed to be playing a ODI in Leeds today?
  16. Exactly. We can't just abandon our civilised society because certain aspects of it are not working properly at the moment. You need to address those aspects.
  17. Would love too. There's all too much seriousness going on at the moment. Well mostly just idiots arguing about rubbish. In the words of the man who made it, ?the forum is supposed to be fun.? I haven?t seen the film though so I?m a bit lost on this one.
  18. Oh christ here we go again.
  19. ...skim as much money off the top as possible and then scarper somewhere sunny.
  20. They aren?t big on online facetiousness in the Arab world asset. That would have lost you a finger.
  21. Is accusing someone of libel when they are not actually guilty of it libellous?
  22. So after 8 pints of Guinness you turn into and Irishman with an ear infection. I can see why you suspect its waters of the Liffey.
  23. Case in point.
