  1. I'm sure beer was less than ?2 a pint 10 years ago.
  2. Is there no end to the neoliberal onslaught? First the economy now forum moderation.
  3. There a joke in this somewhere involving balls and cues. and maybe pockets too.
  4. and all my friends laughed at me. But that was nothing new. It's nothing old either.
  5. At one point during my teenage years I decided to stop listening to recorded music altogether on the basis that it was all produced for a profit of some sort and therefore insincere. I remember those few weeks quite well actually. I was on a trout fishing holiday in the mountains at the time. It was very quiet. This was a little bit after I first started to experiment with marijuana and a little bit before I learned that trying to practically apply any of the bright ideas you have when you are stoned to real life is senseless folly.

Indeed and many of us learned a long time ago that if you buy your clothes at Asda you have a lot more money to spend on Genesis tapes. As demonstrated by the picture you posted earlier.
  7. This all seems too expensive and pretentious for me. What if you just like normal things like loud shouty music and not wearing trousers?
  8. What's the point in being a prince if you can't party naked?
  9. I'd like to believe in the flying spaghetti monster. I think it would make me seem mysterious and interesting and make women want to sleep with me. Unfortunately I have never seen the flying spaghetti monster. I have sure as shift seen a ghost though. What I saw, why and whether it was a hallucination brought about by certain conditions and shaped by my own frame of reference or a messenger from the flying spaghetti monster is a mystery to me. It was however a genuine experience. I suppose it could of course have not happened and instead be a fabricated memory implanted in me by super-intelligent sewer dwelling lobsters as part of an interesting but otherwise insignificant sub-plot to the orchestrated docudrama that is modern human society and which they oversee editorially for a race of pasta based trans-dimensional beings. But this is highly improbable.

And we all know that's not propper drinking.
  11. Pity there aren't two more.
  12. Of course SA is the better team. What next, insightful observations about the wetness of water? What is funny though is that Broad and Prior are playing like it?s a T20 game and I wouldn?t be surprised if the scoreboard suddenly shifts up a gear. Before they fall over like Laurel and Hardy in a rake factory that is.

  14. It was in the independent too.
  15. South Africa could always use an extra second string batsman.

  17. Anyone got any cocaine? The train will only take you am hour and a half. Three tops
  18. Traditional Zulu dress often involves leopard skin. So when it rains tomorrow they?re going to look like zebras being attacked by leopards.
  19. Not Michael Caine specifically but I think the idea of colonial era British soldiers was mooted. To their credit the poms decided that it may be sailing little too close to the boundaries of good taste. So they?re blacking up and going as Zulus instead.
  20. Lunch was many hours ago for me. I am currently chewing gum a la Graeme Smith and contemplating 4 down by close of play.
  21. So they?ve got Petersen for 182 and they?re into the tail with 358 on the board. 450 all out? Should give SA time for about 3 wickets before close of play.
  22. Been trying to kill the weeds in the patio for a week now but it keeps on bastard raining and washing the weed killer off.
  23. I hope not. Some people I know are going tomorrow all dressed as Zulus. This was the idea of the Englishmen in the group and is being taken with bemusement by the one token saffa. Anyway I don?t want to miss out on the chance to say, ?Zulu?s! Thousands of them!?
  24. You going to spill it on your scarf?
  25. Hope you've got lots of biscuits in.
