Anyone know if it is possible to park around here on a Sunday afternoon?

hope you are not trying yo gey anywhere by train today And hope you are not in Thurso ..... From http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/today.aspx Engineering work is taking place between Dingwall and Wick/Thurso with all lines closed. Buses replace trains between Dingwall and Wick/Thurso. There will be no service for Altnabreac and passengers to/from Scotscalder should use customer help points or train staff to complete journeys. More seriously from there........ On most weekends, particularly on Sundays, Waterloo East, London Bridge, Charing Cross and / or London Cannon Street stations will be closed or have very limited services. And Engineering work is taking place between Herne Hill/Peckham Rye and Streatham with all lines closed. Southern Buses replace trains between London Bridge and Streatham Common via Tulse Hill/West Norwood. Thameslink The London Bridge to/from Streatham train service will be diverted and run non-stop between London Bridge and Sutton then all stations via St Helier, Wimbledon and Tooting to/from Streatham. Passengers should use local buses or London Underground to complete journeys if travelling to/from stations between London Blackfriars and Herne Hill/Streatham. Buses will run between Streatham and Sutton via Mitcham Junction.

Thanks all - perhaps we ought to ask those involved in the Southwark Cyclists / TFL Road works ride to extend the range to poor management of Southwark TM's (temproary measures).... http://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/southwark-cyclists-tfl-road-works-ride-10th-september-2015/ -

James - why close at one end and not in the middle? Either way can see this would be cheapest - also could be put in as a temporary measure to view impact Also other measures have unwanted impacts; * speed ramps / bumps - if too high rattle the foundations, too low do not control speed * narrow road - already narrow due to parking * central islands * some type of chicane/narrowing (e.g. Ivydale Road) - might be an option?

"All lines have now reopened following a tree on the line at Forest Hill. Southern services between Sydenham and London Bridge may still be delayed by up to 20 minutes. Trains will continue to be disrupted until around 15:00 as services return to normal. Replacement buses are running between Oxted and Uckfield. Southern services on other routes may be affected due to the displacement of trains and crew."

Sorry - as you were - obstruction must be south of Peckham Rye - overground seems okay from here - but Honor Oak out
-
Tree down so no overground to Clapham Junction from e.g. Peckham Rye Forest Hill

Is it possible this is due to shared use and pressure drops as people get home from work? Is it the same early am - say 06.30 to 08.30 ?

http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/charities Worth reporting them at least to check?

Yeah - sight-lines in East Dulwich are useless - will it take someone to be killed to get this sorted out? I write as the owner and occasional driver of a motor that does not have forward control - as here.... http://www.forward-control.org/index.php/forward-control-vehicles-at-work/ I have real trouble seeing around corners :-( And as a cyclist I've almost been totalled a number of times as wulfhound says
