I emailed them about it today. They are awaiting planning permission, and are hoping for an answer by the end of the month. If it gets granted, they'll start the building work then.

The Uplands closed yesterday. I am informed by Upland locals, work will take 8 weeks.

Who knows how long 8 weeks is. :)
