Carrots for breakfast LadyMuck?

Wow!

Bowl of cereal - mix of branflakes and mini weetabix with banana, followed by two slices of home made bread (machine acquired from this forum!) one with Vegemite and the next with Grapefruit marmalade.

Two mugs of coffee of course.

That lot sees me through till about an hour ago!

Yes, I always over-prepare for dinner solely so that I may eat the left-overs for breakfast the following morning. This evening I intend roasting way too many potatoes!

Bloomin heck...how on earth do you remain as slim as you are?

A crusty white loaf from Kindred bakery in Herne Hill, cut ito doorstep slices

Unsmoked, dry cure streaky bacon from a reliable source.

Cut off the excess fat and fry this first, then fry the bacon til crisp (add lard to pan if necessary)

dip one surface of each slice of bread in the hot fat

layer bacon generoualy on one slice

pour HP Sauce lavishly over bacon and top with second slice

Serve with builder's tea in a chipped mug

Repeat to taste

Re SimonM's post -

from Kindred Bakery, either a delicious granary roll or two pieces of bread cut from one of their granary loaf.

Cook favourite bacon, spread mayo on bread/roll and add fresh ripe tomato. If available/desired add lettuce for a superb BLT.

Must drink with tea.

    • If you’ve got four quid spare, go and try one. Myself, I like the mozzarella and spinach, but there’s no accounting.
    • More of a Steak Bake kinda thing, then.
    • You might want to try the Peckham Facebook community group. I am located in East Dulwich & have 2 well-used scratchers: A large single post (ideal for an adult cat) & a small cat tree with 2 short posts (ideal for kittens) While the wear & tear is nowhere near as bad as the one shown in the link below, ideally the sisal should be replaced to get the best use out of it (& neutralise the scent of another cat) hence why I haven't donated these to a shelter. You may find this link helpful: https://thegreenmadhouse.com/diy/how-to-repair-your-cat-scratcher But you can just get a brand new one between £10-£30 on Amazon that'll last much longer. It all depends on what type of scratcher you're looking for; material, size, vertical or horizontal. Your little lion will let you know by whether they're currently scratching down or up, like a mat or armchair for example. More than happy to send location & leave in front garden for pickup.
    • Would happily take it off your hands! Preferably in Peckham. Thanks 🙏🏻
