Intended train strike meant to start tomorrow. I only found out after finding a leaflet on my train seat from London Bridge. It may affect trains along the East Dulwich route to London Bridge. Just a heads-up for commuters to check before they travel tomorrow as buses and alternate routes expected to be a lot busier.

More detail and further dates here: http://www.southernrailway.com/your-journey/strike http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/124447.aspx

The map kindly linked by ED_moots above claims there will be no difference to the London Bridge - East Dulwich service, it's only the service thrugh to Wimbledon which won't be running. It does say the London Bridge trains may be more crowded than usual, but I can't actually see how that's possible...

Southern trains out of Forest Hill were as per normal passenger wise today.

    • If anyone had half an ounce of intelligence they would vote for the Green Party or a real socialist alternative. I have never, and will never back a bunch of ‘champagne socialists’ who have not done a single positive thing for work class people.    Louisa.
    • That the leaders of our country are wealthy people comes as a shock to you? How ridiculous.  Why shouldn’t they be living in those houses?
    • No such thing as a “witch hunt” against a taxpayer funded public figure. Especially someone in charge of finances.    It is the responsibility of a landlord to ensure the agent acting on their behalf has done everything required to validate a tenancy. And to double check that too. Stop justifying it as some sort of ‘oversight’ purely down to the agent.    Also, I’d question the socialist credentials of a Labour chancellor owning a beautiful detached house on a private estate close to the edge of Dulwich Village. Great Brownings, according to some media outlets. What a s**tshow.    Louisa.    https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/dulwich/southwark-faces-calls-to-take-action-against-chancellor-rachel-reeves-who-is-accused-of-breaking-housing-rules-when-renting-out-dulwich-home/
    • Was the property in one the wards Southwark added last November? It would be a bit harsh if it was and Southwark didn’t notify residents and landlords.
