I have a lovely female friend (41), very good looking, slim (not that these things matter, but it helps) who would like to meet a local chap for an entertaining, low-pressured drink in East Dulwich. Own hair negotiable but own teeth a must. My friend is interested in books (high and low brow), sports, food, travel, music and the theatre. She can't face the hideousness of a dating website and our circle is only smug-marrieds with kids, I recommend her highly but have no one suitable or unsuitable to introduce her to. She's upbeat, sociable and thinks that even if Mr Right doesn't materialise it would be good to expand her circle of friends locally. If you have a friend you could recommend or if you think you might be the very man to put a spring in her step then please step forward.

She....( you.. )

Sounds FAR too good for any of my " friends "

Now be honest, on a 1- 10 scale how neurotic are you/is she

I mean, is "selotape" used to pick hairs/dust off the stair carpet, are cushions "plumped" for example, in rotation every time you ...sorry "she" walks in the room ?

Now for a brief word association test

BUNNY

Boiler ☐

-Kins ☐

Oh, yes please with extra gravy ☐

Tick box.

Best wishes & good luck

I'll keep my ears peeled

Now that's just uncalled for, You and Mickmac have just punctured my ego.

Pam may have been a bit plastic, but she had feelings and I felt like I had let her down.

No matter what I just couldn't get her to re-inflate that passion afterwards

hi I have a friend that is in search for a lady friend. He is lovely although slightly excentric!he is late 30's he works in theatre, well read, not overweight but not slim. Tall, dark hair, incredible sweet and interesting and would love to meet a lady. As he works in theatre its hard to meet people due to the hours he works so is still single. if your friend would like to meet someone who is lovely but quirky send me a pm.

    • So irrespective of the scandal how do you think that Rayner did as Housing Secretary?
    • The Labour astro-turfers are out in force on this thread aren't they!
    • I don't really care about political sleaze in this  i am more concerned about thjle ability to run.a country without running it into the ground. Currently, labout seem to be heading straight towards the rocks, ignoring the warning blasts from the economic ighthouse.
    • Which is exactly why Rayner had to go - don't be the sleaze attack dog and then not keep your own house in order - the really shocking fact is she didn't go the moment this came to light because she knew what advice, and the advice to seek proper tax expertise that was given to her in writing by the very people she was trying to throw under the bus - she clearly thought she might be able to spin her way out of it. When you look at the facts, the advice she was given and when and her behaviour in the last few days it has been scandalous and just shows the contempt for the public intelligence some politicians have. Interesting to see a very unscientific vox pop on BBC News last night but a lot of her own constituents seem to want rid of her as well and to be honest if you have to lose your cabinet role for this breach of the rules then you should probably lose your seat too. That is the hypocrisy here and why a lot of people don't like politicians because they're all the same.
