I have just moved to East Dulwich and would like to meet new friends.

If there is any one out there who feels lonely too, please get in touch. Just e-mail me : )

I'm 24 years old, not a rowdy person quite quiet. I like being around people.

Hope to hear from anyone soon.

I am somewhat shocked & a little upset at the idea of anyone running around naked anywhere other than in their own homes, and quite frankly I don't approve of that, but that's their own affair ! I feel this desire to run around naked is indicative of the moral decline of our nation, & find the whole idea disturbing. We need to get back to decent values for decent folk, & not encourage such debauched & paganisitc activities. Rest assured I will be writing to my MP first things in the morning regarding this dreadful matter !
It must be really annoying to post on here about something that is quite important to you and then just get lots of people trying to outdo each other in the humour stakes...Clarey28 am in a bit of a different position to yourself and cannot really think of any better suggestions than the (sensible) ones already posted...but I do know one thing, The Bishop is def not the place to find a decent bloke....unfortunately there's lots of already taken/married men around here so not sure a great stamping ground for single and childless (well I'm presuming you don't have children)- Camberwell or Brixton better maybe? My mum suggested book clubs to find a decent man but just don't think many (straight) single men hang out there....

Clarey28, perhaps hanging out in places where the things you're into take place, ie. if you're into films/productions/lectures/some music the southbank or barbican (which both have bars) !

It's great on the southbank this time of year and you'll have to squash up with strangers to get a seat on one of the terraces by the river..

basically whatever you are into go there

just a suggestion..

Perhaps you would like my friend Fabio? He's a suave man, enjoys spectating and directing ball based sports, wearing fine suits and also takes an impressive 6 figure salary.

I've put a picture below for you to check him out

    • I wonder where he could be deported to, Hungary the obvious candidate in Europe, perhaps he would get on well with Modi?   Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage both said Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood should look at whether Abd El Fattah's citizenship could be revoked to enable his swift removal from the UK. Farage said in a letter to Mahmood: "It should go without saying that anyone who possesses racist and anti-British views such as those of [Mr Abd El Fattah] should not be allowed into the UK." So just racists views are ok Nige?

    • If it's the same one I'm thinking of, it was a little further down the road towards LL, probably where the Fresh Flower Company is today. I'd forgotten all about it, with good reason. I think it disappeared before Blue Mountain opened and became a pizza place? I once bought a carton of milk from the deli and when I opened it, it was solid. I did get my money back though.
    • But when was it posted?! I haven't posted any this year. I can't bring myself to pay the exorbitant cost of the stamps, and at least I can sort of honestly blame it on illness. If I can't hand deliver them, I send e-cards. I know it's not the same, but it's very much easier. And as for the people who still send pages of closely handwritten letters .... very admirable in terms of the hours it must have taken them to write them,  but they remind me of those spoofs eg x has just passed all their many important exams with the highest marks possible, y has just walked round the world in a week, z has just become the first person ever to be knighted twice, we are about to fly off for our fifteenth exotic holiday this year ....... Or else (or sometimes and) they are full of who has had what illnesses and accidents and other catastrophes. Is this just my relatives and distant friends? Am I somehow attracting these reams of handwritten paper?
