Burst water main Overhill Rd

Snap! Well, was low. Now non existent....

I've just gone past it. It's a proper burst. Junction of Lordship Land and Overhill Road, on Lordship Lane, the road has broken up in big sections on one lane and a flood of water heading down the hill. Temporary lights in place and lots of Thames Water vans. Traffic looks terrible. Avoid if you can.

No water & low pressure

I've lost count at the amount of burst water mains on that junction since the pipes were changed to stop them in the first place. Why is that section of road so vulnerable?
