twinsmom
I need some suggestions for party bag fillers - age 7. Any unique ideas which wont be tossed into the bin in five minutes? curlykaren
My son went to a football party and the gift was a (copy) of a picture of Pele scoring a famous goal with his signature. He was thrilled with it. Idea could be adapted for almost any theme or latest craze. KatieJ
I bought these last week for my 6 year old's party and they went down very well - still very popular with 6 and 9 year old a whole week later (boy and girl)https://www.amazon.co.uk/PACK-ANIMAL-PRINT-SLAP-BRACELET/dp/B00JU7UQX0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1467289709&sr=8-4&keywords=party+bag+slap+bracelet Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/112644-ideas-for-party-bag-fillers/#findComment-1016998 Share on other sites
yeknomyeknom
Check for old posts because I've read something on this before. You can buy a pack of books from book people and split it for bags. They are a bargain. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/112644-ideas-for-party-bag-fillers/#findComment-1017235 Share on other sites
edanna
I've done glow sticks before (better in winter when going home in the dark), curly straws, mini windmills. There are also sites where you can make your own word search with words of your choice and print them off. I did magnifying glasses and disguises for a detective party. Tiger do amazing portable disco balls - they are really not cheap esp if buying a lot, but both my kids - 8.5 and 6 - love them. If you have something cool like that and some sweets then that can be better than lots of little things that last 2 mins. esme
I bought a Disney car each for my son's party and they were a real hit with girls and boys, tho I did buy a back up cheap lip gloss from Peckham pound shop just in case - around ?3-4 each but if you then add cake and a punch ball balloon or similar that's enough :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/112644-ideas-for-party-bag-fillers/#findComment-1025736 Share on other sites
andynic
One unique idea - don't do them. We tried it and after the initial surprise no-one was that bothered and you save a huge amount of waste and expense, not to mention breaking the cycle which puts pressure on other people to do the same.
