Loz
Because we wanted an unusual size, we went with these guys. http://www.nabru.co.ukIt was like putting together a big 3d jigsaw puzzle - no screws, no nails, no glue. Had it for two years now and it seems to be wearing well. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/116287-sofas/#findComment-1027885 Share on other sites
Sue
I bought my huge and comfy sofa at enormous expense from Heals, and it's still going strong a quarter of a century later :))ETA: It comes apart in two pieces so it could be got into the house :)And kudos to Sofa Workshop (I think it was - they're still there, on the road leading down to Clapham Junction) where we would have bought our huge sofa but theirs didn't come apart, and rather than persuading us to buy something smaller from them, they actually advised us to try Heals. Now that IS good customer service!Edited again to say, it has a loose cover, so you can't see that it has two halves, obviously! LouiseC
We got ours from Habitat- it's really comfy and hard wearing, on the expensive side full price but they've got a great showroom clearance of furniture currently on at the Kings Rd store and they regularly do 20-25% off promotions if you are happy to wait for one. Robert Poste's Child
I was in Peter Jones today and saw some amazing bargains on the shop floor. Depends on what they have in when you visit but sounds like there are more online.
