Hi,

I need a bit of help. I have a few weeks off work and want to spend some quality time creating memories with my daughter (who is 2 ? ). I am trying to pull together a list of activities, events, places and things to do which are FREE or not too expensive for us both to enjoy. Any ideas/suggestions would be most appreciated.

Deens City farm is great!!

Vauxhall City Farm is also free and you could then go for a walk over Vauxhall Bridge??

Streatham Common paddling pool and rookery.

Walk along Southbank...our boy loves to shout at all the boats going past.

Hyde Park is always good, if you don't mind the trek as well as Regents Park.

Battersea Park is brilliant too

Saw the Elephants in Green Park (and Berkeley Square etc) today on a trip up West. Another pleasant a free day out is a trip to Tate Britain. You can spend a couple of hours in there before moving to a lovely little playground nearby with a sandpit. Here Get the 185 from Lordship Lane and get off on north side of Vauxhall Bridge.

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
