Forum Picnic - Sat 17th July - 3pm onwards - Peckham Rye Park (in front of the cafe)

Recommended Posts

He'll give anyone thats not within an 8km radius a lift. Then he can have the day orf to do whatever it is he does when he's not driving.

So lets see what venue gets the most votes:

- Peckham Rye park (selfishly nearest to me and as organiser, well, y'know...)

- Dulwich park (or is it really East Dulwich park, I dunno...its nice to cycle through)

- Goose green (probably too small for the expected turnout)

- Anywhere else thats leafy, green and idyllic (and near me)

Yeah I think Peckham Rye Park would be good too - top-secret prime picnic spot to be disclosed once everyone else on the forum has signed up.

PR - your bread sounds F-A-B!

Woof - by all means bring hot dogs but you better have some HOT SAUCE to go with them.

*sips elderflower drink, turns another page*

I will be bringing strawberries and raspberries with whipped cream and homemade scones...

Ooooh that sounds lovely. I may well be able to attend and will come armed with G&B's pecan pies if I can! Lovely idea Katie. I feel summery already]

Great news! OMG G&B's pecan pies, what a fantastic treat...I will, cough, ensure that they are put in a safe place if you do.

PS. Looking forward to seeing Little Timmy Enrique Hallal - he sounds adorable, I hope he likes sausages (tu)

(they ARE orgasmic though aren't they. I've taken to buying 3 at a time: one for me, one for hubby and one for me to scoff while I'm taking them home!)

    • He wasn't great when interviewed on Channel 4 News this evening either, but he may get some respite tomorrow with the breaking Nandy story.
    • I was referring more to his performance at PMQs yesterday. It was quite a riot! Almost topped Mastermind
    • Agreed, he should not be held accountable over the mess up over release of prisoners. On the other hand he did himself no favours with his gaffes on the BBC Master Mind programme where he passed on five questions. Where he did answer, here are some of his responses.... When asked who succeeded Henry VIII, Lammy incorrectly answered “Henry VII,” When asked which French scientist won Nobel prizes for both physics and chemistry?” Lammy responded with “Antoinette” When asked which fortress was built to defend Paris and later used as a prison, he answered “Versailles". When asked which variety of blue English cheese is often taken with port, he answered "Leicester" If nothing else he was entertaining.
    • Why do you think he should be toast? All these problems with the prison service apparently go way back, long before Labour took over.
