I've no idea what Adebayor is saying, I can pick up his French accent but really why was TV licience money spent on this guy? He also sits there slumped in his chair as if he is day dreaming about his next goal celebration whilst Jurgen Klinnsmann speaks better English than Alan Hanson.

Have to say it is quite refreshing watching the panel on ITV with the more natural humour of Adrian Chiles and Gareth Southgate over the wooden planks that are Linkear and Hanson on the BBC.

As for Shearer... he lost all credibility when he interviewed Rooney and his opening gambit was 'Wayne you are the best player in the world' (or words to that effect)... which Rooney greeted with the usual humbleness associated with a Manchester United player of just smiling rather than correcting Shearer with the mention of Messi or Ronaldo..

I have to agree about Adrian Chiles. Thank god/whoever for someone with a sense of humour. He is more interesting than any of the pundits IMO.

Narnia form is temporary, class is permanent. Rooney is world class. Which is more then I can say for Mark Bright's punditry. He sounds like he's been inhaling helium and he rabbits on six to the dozen and don't let the commentator get a word in edgewise.

Yes I was listening to him while I was driving a little while ago. I think his party piece is to 'tell it like it is'. He's not very good though. I'm suprised BBC or ITV didn't break the bank to get Fergie or Mourinho as a pundit.

Gotta say Gabby Yorath is well tasty. She's very classy and always looks very elegant. Knows what she's talking about as well. A tasty bit of crumpet who understands the offside trap. My dream come true.

I thought it was interesting, and quite moving last night when Emmanuel Adebayor was talking about the attack on the Tongo team bus earlier this year.

He's heading home now though, so no more of him.

But JTT has it right, ITV for the first time ever is trouncing the Beeb in the studio stakes, and that's almost entirely down to Chiles, the previously dull as dishwater Southgate is a revelation with someone to bounce off and even more so Desailly, it would appear he's not made of wood after all.

Even those stings with the cars aren't actually especially annoying.

I actually quite like Robbie Savage on the radio, he's like a really excitable puppy with a microphone.

I was being ironic, though it's a shame about Big Ron. He was a very good co-commentator. What he said about Desailly was bad, but he really has been struck out into the wilderness without any chance of redemption whatsoever. Even 5 haven't given him a chance.

It never crossed my mind when I was writing it....i didn't see colour when judging my pundits, just how sh1t they were.

If it's any consolation I do like Edgar Davids. He looks totally unimpressed with everything he's seen so far.
