Looks like zamora (and Paintsil) are off to Fulham. I for one will miss Bobby, I know he didn't get much action last season, but he wore his heart on his sleeve, scored some crucial goals (not many yeah, but some) and didn't succumb to the egomania some of the others did when we experienced some modest success.

3 million for the pair, bargain.

The fact is, the transfer fees were dropping, and then a very rich russian bought chelsea, and it went mental again, then a lot of americans started buying clubs and so on... I wish it would sort itself out, but we're going to give Villa ?18m for Gareth Barry, so obviously the madness is still happening.

(I want us to buy Barry by the way, but the price is steep!)
