I really thought (hoped) that Villa would pick up a point on Sunday, but by all accounts Chelsea tore them apart.

Not sure what Rafa's been putting in the team's water bottles at half time this season, but it's certainly doing the trick. Watched the game on t'interweb yesterday, but can't wait to watch it in full later on. That tackle on Xabi was horrendous and most definitely a red card. He seems to have been on the receiving end of a few of those recently. VERY VERY happy with the result. Looking forward to the Chelsea game, which is certainly going to be interesting.

WTF is going on at the Lane? ::o I really hope they pull through this, but something needs to change. I don't think that changing the manager is the way forward. :-S

Agreed - must be tortuous for Jah and co. I can't believe Ramos has turned into a bad manager and anyway, after the pain the club went through for the last replacement I don't think they could face going through it again. I think it's a painful ride until the January Window, then some desperate buying and a scramble to safety thereafter. Then spend the summer re-thinking.

Seems that Skrtel has damaged his PCL, which from a similar experience (ACL) ain't good. I suppose it depends on the severity of the damage, but I imagine he'll be out for a while.

Such a shame as I really rate him as a player and felt very confident with him Carra and Reina in our defence. Only positive is that Agger may well get a game or two, but I would much rather Rafa have the option of them both. :(

I feel sorry for Spurs fans, but I can't see a quick fix. They haven't got a proper ball-winning midfielder in the whole squad nor any leadership on the pitch, and Ramos' body language makes you wonder about his ability to motivate what must be a pretty demoralised set of players.

Yeah! Very funny ratty. I'll do it if you buy a Southampton top though.

I blame that fecker Damien Commolli for the current crisis at Spurs. He's the Director of Football (Huh!) and is responsible for the buying and selling of players. We've got only two strikers (Pavlyuchenko and Bent), of which has been said can't play together. We sold our forwards; Berbatov, Keane and Defore proven goalscorers too, even Mido is scoring for Middlesbrough! And we sold Berbatov for ?31 million to Man Utd at the last minute on the last day before the transfer window shut not giving us to time to buy replacements. Bloody shambles! If any fecker needs sacking here it's that cunt Commolli.

We're not all that bad.

Anyone of you Spurs lot going to the Carling Cup game?

Perhaps you should introduce me then? ;-) Actually no don't. I don't think I could go out with a Liverpool supporter. That would mean we have to spend waaaay too much time together.

All my work colleagues who support Chelsea, West Ham and Arsenal can't stand Spurs. I guess it's just like us with Everton and Man United I guess.

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you.
