Obviously Liverpool have a slight advantage with their away goal but we saw what Arsenal are capable of after a 0-0 draw at the Emirates, they went over to Milan and got a fabulous result. I wouldn't like to bet on this one as it could still go either way but I think whoever scores first will win the match but then again I could be wrong.

Well for once Liverpool start as favourites and Arsenal will be the underdogs. I am not sure this is a good or abad thing from Liverpool's point of view. To coin a cliche, the first goal will be vital. So we neutrals will hope for an early goal from Arsenal to live the tie up. However it looks like 0-0 to me....

Man Utd will be hoping to coast through their tie without getting any more central defenders injured. Chelsea should be able to get past Fenebahce...

The main game of the week is tomorrow's Sheffield United v Sheffied W*dn*sd*y of course....>:D<

Not sure Liverpool start as favourites, they got the away goal yes, but Arsenal put a load past us at Anfield last year!

I think too close to call, as I said before, I think Arsenal will score, and 1-1 / extra time wouldn't surprise me at all, although I hope Liverpool can snatch it 2-1 in normal time! ...

Will be interesting to see how he uses Torres tomorrow. I know Atila thinks he was anonymous last week, I disagree, I think he was taking defenders away from the action, and still useful. However, his scoring record at home is a lot better than away. Think Croutch deserves a game though.

So how are the Reds and the Gooners feeling this morning? I am very nervous I must admit. I keep thinking we're going to lose, then I think nah, we can beat them, then I think don't be ever confident... Damn it, I don't want to think anything! Watching it at home tonight with a couple of mates, one pool, one arse!

on the grounds that I can say "I love it when I'm wrong" tomorrow, let me state that:

Arsenal will not make it through tonight

But seriously after three 1-1 draws already this season can we just fast-forward to a penalty shoot out?

It's going to be a nerve-shredding night regardless of the outcome

Are we going to have to sit through the usual ITV love-in "You'll never walk again..." scarf waving garbage at the start of the coverage tonight?

Actually, you'll probably find that the commentators talk all over it and then cut to the ads.

Expect plenty of noise - it's going to be VERY loud. To class YNWA as garbage is simply jealousy, no one can knock Liverpool for that or the support from fans on a Euro night.

I am most certainly not jealous of that dirge. Give me the United Calypso every time.

I remember Liverpool Celtic in 97 or 98 I think. Now that was a loud YNWA!!!

My mate text me at the weekend from a wedding he was attending. The groom is a big Pool fan, and he had strings and wind playing YNWA... Now that is tacky and devoid of class! I was at a wedding a couple of years back when the Bride came in to Sweet Child O' Mine, and they walked out to the Z-Cars theme (yes he was Everton)... The day didn't improve throughout unfortunately!

Sandperson, just because you don't get on with your outlaws there is no reason to take it out on the every other Scouser. Get over it. ;-)

Our experience is they don’t seem to care. That’s the frustrating thing for us, if someone politely raises a concern at least take a second to reflect. Treat others how you would want to be treated.  I don’t want them to lose their job, far from it. But considering it could cost me a days work to fix any damage, I’m within my right to try prevent it.

    • What was he doing on the stage at Glastonbury? Or on the stage at the other concert in Finsbury Park? Grinning like a Cheshire cat whilst pissed and stoned 20 somethings on the promise of free internet sung-- Oh Jeremy Corbyn---  What were his policies for Northern mining towns with no jobs or infrastructure? Free Internet and university places for youngsters. What were his other manifesto pledges? Why all the ambiguity over Brexit?  I didn't like Thatcher, Blair or May or Tony but I respected them as politicians because they stood by what they believed in. I respect all politicians across the board that stick to their principles. Corbyn didn't and its why he got  annihilated at the polls. A socialist, anti imperialist and anti capitalist that said he voted for an imperialist and pro capitalist cabal. He refused to say how he'd vote over and over again until the last knockings. He did so to appease the Islington elite and middle class students he was courting. The same people that were screaming that Brexit was racist. At the same time the EU were holding black and Asian immigrants in refugee camps overseas but not a word on that! Corbyn created and courted a student union protest movement that screamed at and shouted down anyone not on the left . They claimed Starmer and the centre right of labour were tories. He didn't get elected  because he, his movement and policies were unelectable, twice. He turned out not to have the convictions of his politics and died on his own sword.    Reform won't win an election. All the idiots that voted for them to keep out Labour actually enabled Labour. They'll be back voting tory next time.    Farage wouldn't be able to make his millions if he was in power. He's a very devious shyster but I very much doubt he'd actually want the responsibility that governance requires.
