At last!!! Liverpool get a bad break. There is a god after all!!!! I still don't want Chavski or pool to win this competition, but boy how I enjoyed the look on the faces of the Liverpool team after the ginger one had struck a blow for Lokomotiv Fulham. Come on Barca!!!!

A stonewall penalty which turned the tide in your favour in the first leg, committed by a player who later scored your equaliser and maybe shouldn't have been on the pitch. That is worse than bad luck, it's blatant. So, I won't be greiving for the scousers when they exit the tournament, nor will I grieve for Chavski when they win f**k all this season, and hopefully Barca lift the CL trophy. As for gloating, well wait til we meet next season.

It does make me smile when other supporters accuse us of being bitter when we complain, because of course scousers NEVER complain, nor do Chavski (who boo their own team even when they draw), the mancs and fergusmoan and the most gracious losers ever, etc, etc. So Keef, this is yet another case of pot calling the kettle black.

No Keef - we didn't. It's not the Liverpool way. Must say I was surprised at Rafa last night, but I guess he was venting his frustration.

I was really wound up earlier by some of the shite I read, but I've decided to just rise above it. Our trophy room speaks volumes and will continue to do so.

It's pathetic - I started posting on here about football because it made a change from the bile that goes on to 606 and other forums. It used to be quite pleasant - it's now a place I think I'll avoid.

I have never wanted any club to win CL except Arsenal. Why would I want that? As for Annasfield, all I can say is maybe the truth hurts. I find it amazing that she is shocked that other supporters don't wish any other club well, other than their own, why should they? I find that very surprising. Come on Barca!!

I can't stand Utd and Chelsea and Arsenal aren't exactly my favorite teams right now. But do you know what - it's not because of the clubs it mainly because of the fans. Unfortunately when clubs are successful, morons tend to jump on the bandwagon.

By all means Atila - go on other forums and rant and rave and call people infantile names and be rude. Why not? That's your right. In fact continue to do so on here if it makes you feel better about yourself.

On here it used to be respectful, with a bit of jesting. Since you joined, it get's down right rude.

Edited for lousy spelling.

I think you'll find dear lady that my postings in this respect, have been far from rude. And you guys have a cheek to have a go at me.

    • In 2016 London City Airport began using concentrated flight paths. When there's a predominantly westerly wind, incoming aircraft approach from East London (north of the River. When there's a predominantly Easterly wind, incoming aircraft approach the airport from the West: circling through Forest Hill, Dulwich, Vauxhall, Tower Hamlets, Docklands. This latter flight path affects many of us in South East London. https://www.london.gov.uk/who-we-are/what-london-assembly-does/questions-mayor/find-an-answer/london-city-airport-concentrated-flight-paths The planes going into City are often below 2,000 ft, so very noisy. Sometimes we have incoming Heathrow at the same time, flying higher. The early flights that I hear e.g. 04:30 are incoming to Heathrow. They are scheduled to land at 05:30 but are 'early'. Apparently the government allows a percentage of flights to arrive early and late (but these are now established as regular occurrences, informally part of the schedule). IMHO Londoners are getting very poor political representation on this issue. Incredible that if you want to complain about aircraft noise, you're supposed to contact the airport concerned! Preposterous and designed solely in favour of aviation expansion.
    • Yet another recommendation for Jafar. Such a nice guy, really reliable and fair. He fixed a problem with our boiler and then incredibly kindly made two more visits to replace a different part at no extra cost.
    • I didn't have any problems with plane noise until city airport started flying planes to and from about 5-8 minutes apart from 5.30 am or  6 am,  and even with ear plugs and double glazing I am woken at about 6 well before I usually would wake  up. I have lived here since 1986 and it is relatively recently that the planes have been flying far too low over East dulwich. I very much doubt that they are headinbg to Heathrow or from Heathrow. As the crow flies we are much , MUCH closer to City Airport than Heathrow or Gatwick. I even saw one flying so low you could see all the windows, when I was in Peckham Rye Park.
