Isn't it Man U, Chelsea this weekend? I hope Man U kick the Chelsea players all over the shop, some injuries would be useful for us! At least Man U have a clear mission, win at home and you're in the final... I still think they'll do it at home... Liked Stevie G's attitude yesterday when he said If we don't think we can win, there's no point us going down there... I say go to the bridge and throw everything at them, bol!ocks to this strategy nonsense!

Chelsea 2 Man. United 1 (Think Chelsea will rally and "do it for Frank", and good luck to them, so long as they don't do it twice for Frank on Wednesday).

Birmingham 1 Liverpool 3

Man. City 2 Fulham 1

Sunderland 2 Middlesbrough 1

Tottenham 2 Bolton 0

West Ham 2 Newcastle 2

Wigan 1 Reading 0

Portsmouth 1 Blackburn 1

Everton 1 Aston Villa 2

Derby 2 v Arsenal 0 (Just for comedy value).

I seriously doubt it, although it would at least give the loyal Derby fans a great memory of the premier league... I expect a comfortable Arsenal win though... I'm also not so sure about Liverpool beating Birmingham 1-3 now I think about it, as I'm sure players will be rested!

Yeah, thought the Pat Lampard shirt was a nice touch. What is with Ballack and Drogba though???

Agree with Atila RE Fulham, both about todays game, and the fact it's probably too little too late.

Had to chuckle about Man U moaning about penalties, when that was the first one awarded against them all season!!! Still think they will win the title...

I did enjoy "Sir" Alex ranting on and on about the penalty award....so the player was far away and it was a "big" match eh? Riiiggggghhhhhtt.....handling the ball is ok for the *big* teams? Interesting that was the 1st penalty awarded against his lot in the League all season...

Meanwhile, back in the Championship.....there are still 5 teams playing for the last 2 play-off places. The rank outsiders are - ahem - Sheffield United (25 points from their last 10 games) who need a win next Sunday, Watford to lose and at least 2 of the three other teams not to win. Sometimes the season really *does* end too early...

Aye, bang on Jah. And I would rather appreciate if al the media could stop referring to Swansea as champions and remove the "C" from next to their names. They are nothing of the sort. If we get all 15 points back on Weds we will 1 point behind them with a game to go. Sounds pretty up in the air to me. Oh and please let the Wendies get relegated as well, please!

Much as I concur with the general sentiment, for it to come to pass it would almost certainly need Southampton to win their final game next Sunday! Ideally Southampton should beat WBA on Monday and then lose against Sheffield United.

And as long as Doncaster hang on to 2nd place, good luck to Leeds in the play-offs! Could be a lot of Yorkshire derbys in the Championship next season eh? :))

At least he saw it.....unlike your blind French manager Arsene Whinger.

    • I sometimes don't feel as comfortable as I did but it's not because I'm older, it's because I'm sober. Staggering home when I was younger I always felt I like a had a cloak of invisibility around me. And a magic compass - not even sure how I found my way home some nights.
    • I'm London born and bred and have always considered myself streetwise having grown up in Notting hill (pre getrification) and I lived on the border of Harlesden (kensal green) in the 90's  when it was pretty sketchy round there .and I spent much of the 80's and early 90's in downtown New York.. I would walk everywhere at all hours of the day and night and never felt particularly uneasy largely because I was always mindful of my surroundings and walked with 'purpose'. I don't know wether its because I'm now so much older but I don't feel as comfortable as I used to walking round London. Today I was in the West end and I made sure to carry my bag on the opposite arm to that facing the kerb and felt uneasy when I saw people wizzing around on limebikes or scooters close to the kerb..I never got my phone out at all...I never used to feel like this but just recently I've had friends witness phone and bag snatching in central london in broad daylight..apparently it happened so fast in both instances there was nothing anyone could do to help..One phone snatching was during the tube strike 7.30am two guys on bikes grabbed a mans phone..My friend took the victim to a nearby hotel to sit down and recover the hotel said due to the tube strike they had witnessed many duo's of youth out very early on bikes aware that there were more pedestrians around at that time with their phones out trying for Ubers or looking at directions. I would'nt say I feel 'unsafe' I just feel more aware of being a possible target for crime than formerly. I don't know if this is due to being older or due to reading the press.
    • The fact everyone has had a CCTV camera in their pockets for the last 15+ years has done a huge amount to prevent and mitigate random drunken violence.  Thugs can't get away with what they used to anymore.
