Asset
red wine should be drunk ususally at around 16 degrees, much cooler than the average room and much cooler than when tepmeratures outside are in the mid 20's. Some reds, particularly Loire, should be served a few degrees cooler than that.I asked recently in the Dog if they had any red wines in the cooler and was given a very snotty "we only serve red at room temp" in reply. I didn't bother to reply. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1224-best-burger-in-dulwich/page/2/#findComment-32519 Share on other sites

Louisa
One chilled sparking red wine I often drink is made by Banrock Station. It is actually a real treat, it's like drinking a red champagne, and it's full of a whole host of flavours. Goes great with beef wellington. smith
At 5.30 on a dim Monday evening a sparkling red sounds just the thing to perk up the palette... one down, four to go (days that is, not bottles). I'll look out for it. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1224-best-burger-in-dulwich/page/2/#findComment-32769 Share on other sites
