omniprescient
Only small-timers call themselves freelancers. We big boys call ourselves contractors! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12597-freelancers/#findComment-352518 Share on other sites
*Bob*
What's the difference?Does a freelancer get more slacking-off time than a contractor?I think I must definitely be a freelancer. I freelance here.. I freelance there. You know. Busy-Busy. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12597-freelancers/#findComment-352522 Share on other sites
PeckhamRose
Having worked for a not short enough short time in construction industry, a contractor was usually late and unreliable.I am a sole trader / independent contractor (as USA puts it) and otherwise self employed.LostThePlot started a group for us self employed lot, but either the dates for meets were a nightmare for everyone to be able to go to, or he himself was so busy he couldn't run them!Maybe we should ask the Forum person for yet another section JUST for self employed people.
