there's a laundry room in my building shared by all who live there. when i do a wash i am considerate to take out my clothes exactly when the wash cycle has finished thereby not delaying others. it proper fecks me off however when others are not as considerate and leave their clothes well past the finish time. i often feel like removing the clothes but never do. should i though..?

i know this is pedantic

advice please

Lived in a large block until last year, it was understood that one left one's bag/basket atop the machine, if someone else needed the machine before the user returned they just put the finished load in the bag. Seemed to work fine, I assumed that was what everyone did.

As others have said, I'd just remove the stuff. If no basket/bag is available, pile it on top of the machine.

Out of interest, does anybody have their own washing machine in their flat? Or is it against the building rules? I didn't even realise shared laundry rooms were a thing in this country, I thought it just happened on US Sitcoms.

    • That's not a bad idea, though I also want to keep the site as simple and user friendly as possibly. It's ultimately about getting a balance between being informative and being a good read. Stars are useful but I'd like people to read the reviews too.

    • Sue. You really don’t have to keep saying about the electoral system    a) we all know about it b) it doesn’t matter    FPTP is the system we have always had and hopefully we will get rid of it someday but it is what it is    when anyone suggests changing the system Corbyn is right there at the front of the queue to prevent it   so its pointless him or any of supporters complaining about it    the evidence you want is the result of the elections. You can’t have clearer evidence.
    • Has anyone from the school commented? Have they said why? Is it a fresh start? Is it that Grove in the name may have connotations of wealth and they want to attract more applicants from a wider area? Is that it currently is linked to the DKH Estate?
