In retrospect I liked series 2 a lot - the Sabotka walk under the bridge was an amazing moment. But series 3 and 4 are my favourites...

Finished series 4 last night. OMG what a waste of life.

I know it's only make believe but how can anyone not want to change things after seeing this!

Their education system, political system and police are all driven by stats and test results, same as in the UK and the results of this are the same here as shown in The Wire.

Just found this thread. I got the first three series box sets for Xmas. I am totally hooked. It really IS one of the best TV shows ever made. I watched the penultimate episode of series 2 last night. Can't wait for series three. When is the fourth one out?

R2 release is a good few months away

I got the R1 before Christmas and have lent it to 3 different people - all of them watched the whole lot in a 3 day window or less

And 4 it is the best Series/Season yet.....

Yeah - I was done with the first series in a matter of days. It's just so compelling and rarely here's a TV show with real characters, not just mouths for 2-D plot devices. I love the way in some episodes seemingly nothing happens only for events to come crashing down later on, the look into people's f-cked up personal lives and the mistakes we all make. There's almost nothing like this in other shows, except maybe as vehicles to explore this week's "issue". And it's funny ...
