Wasn't sure where to post this but it is a positive 'Whisper' not exactly a shout out..

After a couple of years I finally got back to Ganapati..

Intended to try their Lunch Menu. but as they were offering their full menu I went for that..

Just some Poppadoms and Pickles.. a Chicken Curry that came 'On the bone' not seen that anywhere in the last 30 yesrs.

and their Coconut rice...As it was lunch time just had water.

Was quite nice and better than my last experiance their but did take a lttle time to wait. 20+ mins.

Because it was on the bone.

Came to ?16.50 and I was not charged extra for the Rice. Was fairly spicy (Black pepper ?) Filled a hole.

I enjoyed my meal but nothing special to write home about as some might rant on about.

My positive shout out is to the young lady who helped me order a coffee at the services earlier today. Don't often go into a McDonalds, and certainly never used a self service touch screen super dooper thing before. FYI the coffee was crap (as expected).

That's because High is the adjective

I'll be out of my grammatical depth in a minute, if not already

That's because high in that construction is an adjective and five is the noun, so the noun takes the plural, just as in shout out the shout is the noun and out a preposition, so the noun takes the plural, shouts out. However, one can make shout out a compound noun as either shout-out or shoutout, in which case the plural shout-outs or shoutouts is quite correct.

I would get out more but me anorak's in the wash.

    • Another bakery staple in days gone by - bread pudding. Place bakers(?) where Harry's is now always used to sell big chunks of this. I think Morrisons also used to sell it in a packet of 2 slices. Are bakeries now just dumping their unsold bread? I make bread pudding regularly - use reduced bread from supermarkets ( loaf cost me 22p) and last time made 3 batches one for us plus two for friends.
    • Went to thee Viet place in LL some time ago and got charged £9 for a pot of tea  Hubby paid bill and did not notice that they had overcharged. Frequently go past the old Moulin restaurant- rarely see people in it. No indication whether they are providing meals as no menu outside (unless they have pit it up in last few days) Got impression that it was a wine bar only. Love Dulwich is usually busy between 12 - 2 pm when they have their lunch time specials  not been there in evening or weekends.
    • They're a supplement, usually made from whey, which are used after weight training. The theory is that weight training tears the muscle fibres (Feel The Burn, No Pain No Gain, etc), protein helps repair this and aid lean muscle growth. The faster you can get protein into your system, the better, so obviously liquids are absorbed faster than solids Beans, poached egg or peanut butter on toast, are pretty typical post training meals to achieve the same thing. They're much like a very thin milkshake or Slim fast, so nothing anabolic. I used them when I was training three or four times a week and the results were pretty good, if I do say so myself.   Cross-post with Ianr
    • On your last point jazzer, no. I've been reading around various aspects of them today.  The majority of them appear to be not much more than whey obtained from milk. That makes them about 75-80% protein. Have  a look at the H&B products.  They list all constituents. On the 18+ issue, OP, I suspect that what you noticed was probably at most a recommendation that they not be used by under-18s.  Even then, I only came across it on one website, by chance, when seeking for evidence of prohibitions:  https://ultimatesupsg.com/blogs/nutrition/whey-protein-should-individuals-under-the-age-of-18-take-whey-protein-to-build-muscle.
