Oh dear that's very funny Jah. I must admit I've worn that face a bit myself today.

It's always worth remembering though that whenever Ticketmaster UK crashes - as it does from time to time - dont' waste time swearing at your machine - just switch sites instantly to www.ticketmaster.ie - which uses a different server altogether and sells all the same shows as the UK site.

Ticketmaster.ie is running slow today because they are picking up the slack from the UK - just be patient. Try the German site (www.ticketmaster.de) too - it is also selling the Take That shows.

Good luck.

I would really love to see Dolly - I think she's a real star - but I don't think I would spend ?75. She's due to announce a second date at the O2 (the Thursday) so if you do commit to paying that much then hold out for the second date rather than taking what's left of the first date (probably level 4 only). I'm not sure what she's like live but I have Jolene on my ipod and that sounds pretty dam good.

If you want a cheaper night out I would recommend the Fleet Foxes at Hammersmith in May - brand new album.

I'm not a fan but I know there are plenty of fans in ED. Expensive I think but don't get me started on the cost of going out these days.

Have they actually cancelled those Soho Theatre gigs now? I had an email from them yesterday which was very confusing and I meant to phone them. So definitely cancelled then? Well that's a bummer. I've also booked my Tindersticks for Somerset House. It's on a Sunday night so we can all catch the 176 home together.

That sucks. All I've had from Soho was a confusing email confirming my original booking. I was going on the Thursday.

Good news about Somerset House though - it's a great setting. Last year I saw My Morning Jacket on the Sunday night and it was wet and cold - but still a good night.

Am I the only one that thinks that Tim Minchin is so wrong for Somerset House? He's great live but I'd want to be sitting down somewhere indoors.

    • OMFG is it possible for the council to do anything without a bunch of armchair experts moaning about it? The library refurb is great news, as it's lovely but completely shagged out - the toilets don't even work reliably. Other libraries in the area will be open longer house during the closure. July is a rubbish time to begin a refurb because it's just before the entire construction sector goes on summer holiday, and it would mean delaying the work another 8 months.

    • Second time Aria has completed a plumbing job for me and both times he’s been polite. Communicative, kept to time and completed the job. He’s very helpful and tidy as well. First job was ball valve in water tank, not easy at all. He and his team were fantastic. This time kitchen tap cylinders replaced and tap tightened.  Much appreciated, Aria thank you.
    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
