Hi all

Feels like I haven't seen you lot in ages! Hope you and babies are doing well. Anyone free to meet up again this week? Weather looks like it's going to be good this week so could do a park meet up or something? I can do Tues afternoon, Weds afternoon or Thurs morning if that suits anyone?

could do monday am also... I have to be home for lunch time but other than that the morning is free...

or tues could do later on... or lunch time even?

Yes please do join us Blackkat, where are you based? Yak, BB & I are all se15/se5 so sometimes meet this side but are all close enough to se22 to meet there too

shall we say 11 on tues then... perhaps if it's lovely weather we might bring a picnic and hang out in the park for lunch time if anyone fancies it (or I'm organised enough!) or we could all head for the enclosed bit for toddler roaming (abourtoreum?) as baby f has learnt to roll and pretty much just wants to roll all the time now!

Blackkat, I have a blondish bob with chubby 4 month old boy... dk grey/blue bugaboo chameleon.... I don't want to offend by describing anyone else, but needless to say we are all uber glam yummie mummies with perfectly advanced babies (& toddlers in the case of BB & SB)!!!

and if you don't spot us we can always send Yak out to approach any lone female with a baby... !-)

Perhaps you will be easier to spot in the arboretum? :) I'll see what nibbles I can rustle up too...

I have shoulder length brown hair and a bugaboo bee, so just like every other ED mum!! Oh well, I'm sure we'll find each other! See you tomorrow.

    • It wasn't an antique and bric-a-bac shop but an antique market with a number of different traders, the cafe supported all the dealers in bringing in custom, and was good enough to generate trade for them. It was Rodney Franklin's and his partners enterprise, he previously had an antique shop in Queenstown Road in Battersea. His late wife ran the cafe (she was a very fine actress, it was a 'resting' job).  It was on the corner of a junction on the left as you head towards Camberwell. And almost opposite, if memory serves at all, an MFI style furniture outlet.
    • i used to go there in the late 80's and '90s (?) the food was served cafeteria style and there was limited choice, but what there was alays tasted amazing!  The garden was an absolute paradise, you could sit in it to lunch in the summer!  i've tried to locate its site but Walworth Road has changed so much since then - does anyone remember the house number?
