I'm in a really stunning hotel suite in Kowloon overlooking Hong Kong harbour. Nice huh. Except that the whole bloody building has the air-con racked up so high that it's bloody freezing in here. My teeth are literally chattering and I've got three blankets on the bed already. Apart from that, did I mention that the view is rather nice?

I was in Berlin, which sounds much cooler than where I am now, which is why I'm mentioning it. Now I'm in the office, but on the plus side no longer covered in the vomit of a small child, which for those of you that would like to know is no more appealing than that of an adult.

Keef - it was bloody brilliant. One of the best gigs I've ever been to AND I got to do it at Anfield. :))

Not just Macca, but Dave Groll, the Zutons, the Kaiser chiefs and Peter Kay all viewed from the Kop. He did loads of Beatles stuff and there's no better place to see him do that than in Liverpool.

All these lads were watching from the pitch and were kicking a beer can around and pretending to score in front of the Kop. Fantastic!

    • if anyone believes Reform is a party they can trust then they really don't need to be insulted by me - they are doing all the damage themselves If people don't like the state the country is in they should question why Farage fought for Brexit and why it continues to damage the country so much. He and you will splutter it wasn't done properly but if you can't see the contradictions I can't help you
    • It's not incredibly difficult to understand that people vote Reform because they don't want the Tories back and they don't like Labour and they don't like the state the country is in. It hardly makes them "criminally negligent" - in fact, Sepiroth,  you can just stop insulting people just because you don't like what they have to say - it doesn't really add to your credibility. While Sep says "What the country needs is a serious, mature electorate", what the country REALLY needs is a party that we can trust - and that we do not have.  There is no point at all in having a serious and mature electorate if we don't have a serious and mature party to get vote for.
    • mine's the same - use shears, then mow, but I only do a part of the lawn - the rest is covered in daisies, violets and other flowers, so I leave it. I have to be very careful though - we have slow worms
    • I'm watching a neighbours lawn where the grass is hourly increasing in height .Wondering how on earth they are going to tackle cutting it .
