I too would have been sympathetic to his cause, most people just say "sorry, I didn't realise, do you mind.." and I usually say it's fine. But not with this one, he was straight in there with the "you're so precious" this, "I've been singled out" that.

Added: Unfortunately I do have to draw a fuzzy line around East Dulwich as the boundary for residential section.

Keef... I'm always amazed that when a group wants to try & belittle an individual the word "paranoia" starts being levelled at them. It normally springs up when the collective realise that the individual has maybe got a point. But guess, what? The collective doesn't like it. It threatens their very existence. So out come the put downs. Carry on Keef, your buddies at least will admire you. You are very brave member of a cliquey little herd.

Administrator... A Good leader is at least honest with his herd. I enclose our initial communication via email for all to see......

Hi

It's because it's in Nunhead. The section title says Residential property in East Dulwich, your property is not in East Dulwch. You can post it on the Nunhead forum

Hi there,

I was wondering if you could tell me why my post in residentail properties keeps being deleted... " 3 bedroom house in Nunhead".

I go by the forum name of "hadenuff"... Am I breaking any rules? My post doesn't look any different to other posts. It has happened 3 times now!

I would appreciate it if you could give me some feedback as to where I'm going wrong.

Much appreciated... Regards, Gary Holmes

Don't you think that your bit in betwee "Hi" and "Regards" could have been a little bit more expansive & a tad softer?

As I explained to you "We deal with lots of emails everyday, so we send emails that are succinct and to the point".

I am sorry that my explanation was not enough for you.

I'm must also apologise that it wasn't soft enough for you.

And so, with hindsight, boy do I wish I had been more expansive and a tad softer.

It normally springs up when the collective realise that the individual has maybe got a point. But guess, what? The collective doesn't like it.

I just read this thread, and truth be known, I was actually sympathetic to your cause initially, I agree that it would be useful for surrounding areas to be put on the ED forum.

You're talking nonsense. I have no issue with your "point", it's the way you're acting on this thread that I find funny. I'm not sure what you hope to acheive here.

Keef... Please refer back to your previous responses to this thread. I do believe it was you who initially got personal with me with labels like...."Mental" & "Paranoid". You joined in with Kel, Huguenot & Sean throwing your 2 penneth in... which lead me to understand that you are all part of the same gang. I am merely defending myself.

Keef... I'm not sad, you have brightened my day, no end.

When I saw the names all coming up in defence of Adminman, I followed the names & saw that you all wish each other happy birthday on the forum.... now that really is a special little thing you've all got going on, Ahhh, your very own cliquey EDF facebook style social knees-up site. I'm really quite touched.

It all started to make perfectly good sense to me then. You'll all just agree with each other with that good ol' nodding dog mentality, right or wrong.

Then I wondered what sort of a forum it could be, not a very fair one was the conclusion I came to!!! It was full of pals. It was like the old boy network.

I started to follow past threads where your names pop up & saw that there is a pattern & very clear history of bullying of individuals who you happen to disagree with... lashings of snidey undertones of sarcasm. No real input to the wellbeing of the ED community. Just plenty of clever (or not so) in-house smears.

Then you have the temerity to put "I was just starting to sympathise.....blah,blah" & finished off with a cutting aside.

It must feel comfortable being part of the herd, but come on man, show some backbone, where's your steel. Think for yourself & have your own mind. I know you are thinking about it. You want to stand on your own, you do, you do........

"baaaah, baaah, baaaahh.." Damn, your flock is calling you Keef.

Hibbs... stop adding silly comments & I promise I won't respond. You see, you are a sheep which is part of a flock, so you follow (threads)..

Is there some sort of Celt/Kelt Cult thing going on..... Hibbs (short for Hibernian)? Sean (say no more)? Kel (aha, looking good) Keef (ooh red hot). When will the EDF next be hobnobbing at the EDT for their latest nodding dog session. ha ha ha.

best bit of entertainment & laugh I've had in ages... And I'm the star of the show, as you all well know.

You are just sorry bit part players in MY show. Let me attend your next meeting & I just might sprinkle some of my stardust on you.

Yeah, you got me, I agree with everything Sean and admin say, especially Sean.

I did sympathise with your initial point, that was true, but I make no apology for asking if maybe you're mental, or suggesting that you're paranoid, because frankly, you're doing nothing to show me otherwise.

Now, if you think this is a sad, pathetic, cliquey, facebookesque, gang of bullies, fine. I won't be able to convince you otherwise, so carry on thinking it. I just wonder why you are still bothering to post on such a horrid forum?

PS. Are you renting out your house because you're moving in to a residential care unit or something?

Wasn't you by any chance?

Could be.... But Narnia?or Declan?(now theres a surprise) no doubt you are part of the Keltic Mafia that thinks they can sit in judgement quaffing pint after pint at the east dulwich tavern with all your mates listening to each others crap jokes that only you all find funny. I saw the sort of hard time you gave "Charlotte87" when she put a simple post in about wanting to meet some new people in the area. Now that my friend was really strange behaviour!!! You'll agree.

Of course, it was your way of trying to hit onto the poor girl & dazzle her with your off the wall humour... you were thinking, hey she'll find me really interesting & different. No, just sad & pretentious I think.

The bet is you are single & you have to get your boxing glove & can of Duckham's Oil out every night? Your sense of humour is only appreciated by all your buddies & if your honest with yourself they are not too sure about you. You don't really fit in in social situations so you have to try (unsuccessfully it seems) to be the deep thinking one & try & come across as whacky.

No doubt, Adminman or Mark will remove me from the forum again. He did that last time I struck a few raw nerves.

Hey, by the way I got loads of private messages telling me I was right about you lot. Shame they didn't post them on this thread, but I guess they were afraid of the Keltic Mafia, there are quite a few of around it seems. Safety in numbers.

To all the sycophants, no I'm not mental or paranoid, you all just wish you were a bit more like me the Nunhead One.

Stay close to the herd..... moooo moooo, baaaaah, baaaah.

    • My last paragraph was relevant. I was in central London having a meal with family on the same day as the recent large right wing march. The date of the  meal was arranged before it was known about the march, and the venue was convenient for one of my brothers and his partner, who had travelled down from the midlands and had a hotel and theatre tickets booked near the venue. It was just up the road from Trafalgar Square, and my partner and I were seriously concerned on the way there and the way back that we would encounter violent people from the march. Luckily we were able to avoid this, but as I expect you will have read, several police officers were injured, and a friend of mine was amongst a group of counter protesters who were hemmed in by marchers for hours, which was obviously very frightening. The group had to be protected by police before they were finally able to get a safe passage out. Therefore, I don't think my last paragraph was unnecessary at all in the context of when I personally feel unsafe in London.
    • You know what? Interesting how memories are triggered.. And what memories.. what I love about this forum, are several things.. support, advice,  buy and sell, free stuff.. Glad as well, that one each one  looks after each other..in their own way… Thank you so much, new admin person for wha you do, and taking up the helm, when, this forum was possibly going to close…
    • Funny you should say that, Sephiroth.   I somewhat oddly still remember passing though Gloucester at the tail end of a cycling holiday decades ago, and getting the feel just from the street activity, cycling through the centre, that I didn't even want to stop and look around.  Tewkesbury, otoh, just up the road, I'd had plenty of time for.   How 'justified' my Gloucester vibes then, who knows?  Chalk and cheese, of course.  Horses for courses. ...
