Where to get xmas decorations within bus ride

Im after some cheap and cheerful decorations - most importantly a garland to wrap round banister. Just one of the fake ones. Am newish to the area and wondered if theres anywhere easy to get to by bus (dont drive and will be pushing pram)that would sell this kindof thing?

I'd go for Sainsbury's - up Dog Kennel Hill. Safe and predictable, but they have plenty of stock.

You could go into Peckham - on Rye Lane a ton of shops and stalls selling exactly that.

Peckham - the 99p shop on Rye Lane is sensational. And the number 12 bus is easy to get the pram onto

I got a wonderful cheap set from Argos last year. There is one on Peckham high street and you could reserve it online so you know it won't be a wasted journey.

Ed on Northcross Road have some lovely ones and some old fashioned paper chains but a bit more pricey.

On the garland point specifically, I got a cheap one at Argos on Rye Lane. It looks fairly real, but I wired in some real pine/other bits to make it look even better.

Was on Rye lane yesterday and bulldozed my way around Ethel Austin with the Phil & Ted - tons of decs in there, all cheap as chips - none are going to win the Kirsy Allsop decorate your poncy home for Christmas award, but a few of them with some classier objects will do nicely.
