Autumn Babies 2017 (due Sep/Oct/Nov)

Recommended Posts

Hi there I'm selling a whole load of 0-3m clothes that my daughter has grown out of for ?30 (see attached pic of short and long sleeved tops, sleep suits, dresses, dungarees, trousers, swimming costumes, cardies, scratch mits, booties, socks, hats, bibs and cellular blankets). Mostly Gap, M&S, next, boots, john lewis and Jojo, but some supermarket bits and one of the sleepsuits is Petit Bateau. All freshly washed. Text/call me on 07730037295 if you're interested - can deliver tomorrow lunchtime! Laura

Hi there!

Congratulations!

We've got a meet up this Thursday at the Cherry Tree pub at 730 if you're around. There'll be another soon I'm sure if you can't and a fair few people are meeting up for play dates - if you pm Kelly (see up thread a little) she can add you to the WhatsApp group.

Hello all, I'm proper late to the party but super keen to join the group, it was a lifesaver when I had my first almost 3 years ago. Second due October. Feeling massive as well - I swear my norks need their own postcode and it's not a good thing! I'm not sure I'll be able to make a night out much before I start Mat leave, but hugely keen to hunt out cake coffee and sanity! All the best,

Jennie (Oglander road)

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this area and expecting my first baby in mid-November, would be keen to meet some other local mums-to-be!

Also, I was wondering if anyone could recommend local hypnobirthing or other antenatal classes? I'm starting an NCT course in Dulwich Village in October, was wondering if there was anything in ED.

Also, would be interested in joining the WhatsApp group for meetups.

Thanks!

Alice

Hi Alice,

I had a great experience with Zoe from The Hypnobirthing Place. I had had a hospital birth with my first and was seeking a gentler approach for my second birth. She was great and helped put my partner and I at ease and in a better mind frame about labour etc. My second daughter was born at home after a 2 hour labour and it was a much happier experience.

Her details are all at www.hypnobirthingplace.com. Good luck!

Hi everyone, I was out this week, and I think I've missed the last meeting..:(

Can I join the wassup group to catch-up?

I m due in September, so really keen to meet during these last days of summer:)

Shall I contact somebody personally to leave my number for the wassup group?

Thank you very much!

Hi there everyone,

I know I'm ridiculously late, but I would love to join this group. I've sent Kelly my details for the WhatsApp Group. I'm due the first week of November with my third - my twins are just turning 3. BRACE, BRACE! :-)

I look forward to meeting all of you.

    • Helpful interactive map in the Guardian today: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/ng-interactive/2024/jan/16/find-your-constituency-uk-general-election-2024-boundary-changes-votes-map-postcode
    • Also those of us who are currently represented by Harriet Harman (who is standing down of course) will not be able to vote for her successor (Miatta Fahnbulleh) as the change of boundaries also puts us in with Reeves, rather than Peckham. I think this is a rather clever way for the conservatives to have taken the wind out of the sales of the end of one great career and its baton passing. (Hope that makes sense).
    • I presume that was you who won the Fantasy football though, James? That's a bit of consolation! As there appears to be at least a couple of Spurs fans amongst us, can anyone advise what is the best way to get to their new stadium from ED? I'm going to see the egg chasers on Saturday. I haven't been to Tottenham in about 30 years! Then it was quite a long walk from the tube if I remember correctly. I'd like to avoid that if possible. I'm in but I need to do a bit of research I think........
    • I certainly hope she’s not standing down. She’s a great MP both locally and nationally.
