Before I settle down to a good session of Bioshock in front of the 80 inch screen in this THX compliant room of ours (don't worry quiet room, it's fully soundproofed too) I have to ask, what the hell is Jack Thompsons problem.

Seriously, aren't there real issues out there worth getting hot under the collar about?

Manhunt 2, Bully, GTA I can juuuuust about see the controversy, but Halo 3?!?!

I play a weekly game of 'try to blow up the boss on Halo (or club him to death with a crowbar) over the work network' on Friday afternoons.

We both find it theraputic.

Sorry, it's not halo, it's half-life(1). I was a bit knackered yesterday and didn't make much sense all day!

Half-life is AWESOME over the network!

It's also a version that was modded to death at the previous office before I got here, so you can be the dude inthe scream mask, etc. Genius.

Never been much of a console person, so never really got into Halo. Half Life on the other hand has consumed many of my waking hours.

...talking of which, has anyone been burning the midnight oil on Halo3? Thoughts people.

Had a top co-op experience the other night, followed by watching it all together on theatre mode.

Yet to really get my teeth into proper multiplayer though.

Disturbingly, of the 3 million people playing halo3 at the time, only 200 were in the multiplayer training area.

Might find it difficult to get my licence.
