right, so that level. Am I the only one who thinks that the next time therenis either a Mumbai style atrocity or a columbine style massacre that a big fuss will be made about this game?

I guarantee with the latter they'll find a copy of it in their house (mind you I'm currently 2,500,000th in the online leaderboards, that doesn't include people who play offline, and that's after three days on the Market!!)

they won mention that everyone of those massacres was perpetrated by someone who had a fridge in their house though will they.

On the other hand, I can believe some bitter nihilistic teen that goes on to a shooting spree will probably play that scene with a little too much glee!

Alrighty, I've decided it's high time I got myself a decent PC once again (moving into a bigger place with actual room for a desktop helps too..), but it's been a few years since I built my last decent gaming PC and things have moved on somewhat.

In the past I've been an AMD and Nvidia man, but only because they seemed to be the best bang for buck at the time, it looks like the Intel i7 is a good bet now, but the graphics side of things is making my head hurt....what have people out there got, what do you reccomend?

Nvidia, ATI, 2 cheaper cards in crossfire/SLI, one more expensive card? Is Nvidias PhysX worth it or just a short lived gimmick?

Hell no! Got an upgrade. New XBox with 250 GB drive, dual controllers & Modern Warfare 2 as a package deal. Buying all the bits separately would have been two thirds the cost of the package. Hence a well looked after XBox for sale, just in time for Christmas.

I've always been a Nintendo man, and I love RPGs like the Zelda series, and games like Metropid Prime, which I guess are FPS???

Running around with guns type games, modern warefare 2, doom, that sort of thing.

Yep, Metroid Prime is exactly like that. Yeah I like those games, and have heard great things about this Bioshock.

My favourite games are the more RPG/Knights running round with swords / chatting to people in the villages, and that sory of shite.

Keef, can I be there when you first exit the dungeon in Oblivion and see the world in front of you?? And then you realise you can just..... go to any part of it. on foot, by horse, bit of swimming....

Yeah Bioshock is loads of fun, my copy has been gathering dust since completing it tho so I'm happy to pass it on to someone else.

Hopefully will get some more time on Modern Warefare 2 in the new year when we move house, sharing the xbox with the only TV in the house is seriously impeding my game time at the moment.

I agree with him that the gunplay is teh weakest aspect of the game and it flags a little before picking up for the reveal - but that moment is worth it alone...
