OK, so after a rather drink induced conversation on Saturday evening, I found out my friend Nic has a particularly small tongue, which got me thinking, did she have a small tongue or did I indeed have a particularly large one, so fellow Dulwich formumites I thought it would be a great idea if we did a little experiment of our very own and we each measured the length of our tongues?from the entry point of it leaving our lips to the very tip, in centimeters?so how long is your tongue? Pictures welcome? Prize tbc.

Brilliant, thank you Katie numbers.

I was at that same event. The tongue in question is indeed tiny but well formed and apparently works in all the ways required. Small and pink and a bit pointy.

I was told (by those that have expertise in these matters) that I have a big tongue, being both long and broad. If you want to know how long and broad it is, you will just have to come round and measure it Hibbs.

    • Did Xmas in Southern India years ago, odd having piped carols when there was no actual celebration.  Cuba was nice and chilled.  Viet Nam before mass tourism on a very quiet beach.  Mexico/ Oaxaca was lovely and sunny with a radish festival too.  Iceland was exactly that - cold and very icy and we got snowed in.  My favourite in Spain was Granada and going down to the beach (and swimming) on Xmas day.  Did the same in Morocco.  Central Nigeria was a different one with lots of singing and dancing at a three hour church service and all the bright colours.  Two times in small resorts in France skiing, once with an absolute bucket full of snow on Xmas evening.  Mountain restaurants open. London dull in comparison.  Not that I am competing of course.
