hmm lets see, a bunch of 20 something hoxton finned, fat tied estate agents, fuelled on free champagne and drunk on their own egos, receive 'snotty' call from neighbour asking them to move their 1100 irritating minis?

I can pretty much guarantee it was them, I'm sure they all guffawed like etonians after a game of cheesy biscuit afterwards.

i do like the idea of creating some anti-foxtons car stickers mocking their own designs. Apparently this year, the theme is jockey's jersey designs as part of their ''great property race''. Each car is named as if it were a race horse, although I'm sure forumites could come up with some names which reflect everyone's thoughts on Foxtons.

Try to read this part of their website without throwing up. Use of the term ''drivers home track'' and ''great for parking in tight spaces'' may prove a little close to the bone.

Each of the cars has a name based on one of their offices as well - Balham Boy for example. I haven't yet seen a Dulwich one (not East Dulwich, I note - presumably didn't sound upmarket enough to own up to on the website), maybe we could have a competition to name a Foxtons mini?

Dulwich D________

Any ideas? I've got one or two in mind...

Jose, that blurb on their website about the minis makes me want to track down their head of brand, and do all sorts of horrible things. The worst part about reading it is that I get a mental picture of a complete tw*t. I'm actually getting a bit angry, but I suppose it is 7 and I'm still in the office.. for the 8th or 9th working day in a row!

    • Well I did say I stand to be corrected! Fair enough, their website only seemed to list three branches. Perhaps it's a franchise model?  It's known as 'agglomeration' in economics Rookie error.
    • I didn't know there was a word for that — thanks!
    • This is just normal business behaviour. That's why there are so many coffee shops in ED and shops selling gifts and interiors stuff, clothes, restaurants.  If there's more than one business of a similar type then it can benefit all of them up to a saturation point and keep up quality. It's all sounding like many think Chango has made a malicious move when it actually sounds like it's owned by one guy who has a good business that has done well.   Anyway this is all great advertising for both empanada places. Very close by is the organic grocer who sells really good value and very tasty samosas and other Indian snacks which are also worth trying.
    • Hello, Does this lovely little panther have a name? & Is he neutered & microchipped?
