Mark
What are you searching for? And are you Mac/PC/phone? And what browser are you using (e.g IE6, Safari, FireFox)? mockney piers
it is a bit patch if you remember the whole 'definately' search malarkey. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1549-search-function-not-working/#findComment-43313 Share on other sites
mockney piers
Any chance you can send me the search function (PM probably wisest). It's basically rubbish and I'd love to see the code behind it.It should be "SELECT post_text FROM posts WHERE post_text LIKE '%search term%'" but obviously isn't.Well, I guess it's wrapped in a procedure otherwise people would search for '; DROP DATABASE' but that's another matter entirely. If I could rewrite it so it worked, that'd be pretty useful. macroban
Not a good idea to give SQL access outside Admin. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1549-search-function-not-working/#findComment-48008 Share on other sites
mockney piers
No no, didn't want access, just suggesting I might write a correctly working function that Admin could use rather than one that clearly doesn't do the job.
