I've just tried it online. Used my access code to get in without problem, saw that I had the right web form with my name and address on, completed a few pages, ending each with a 'save and continue', then a 'save and come back later', which flagged up as an error.

Since then, all attempts to log back in again have met with a "The Internet Access Code you have entered may be incorrect; please check and try again.".

Page reloads, browser restarts and cookie clearing haven't made any difference. Perhaps it's a glitchy or time- or session-limited error. It would be a strange system that accepts a login code and then permanently disables it for no obvious reason, so I'll have another try later today or tomorrow.

Has anyone experienced similar or, better still, had no problems? I wouldn't want to put people off doing an online return.

Now back in again ok. My problem was probably a consequence of not having formally logged out after seeing the error message after trying to submit an uncompleted page. The log out happened ten minutes later, when the system timed me out.

I will not be filling out my census form this time... which is illegal. I can only hope that millions of other will not want to give their data to a US arms company, and will object to the ?150 million contract being given to them, when public sector jobs are being lost!

That's disappointing Jah Lush. The census is one of the most important tools in helping to determine future services. As a charity sector worker, I regularly find myself quoting the 2001 census in order to demonstrate need as a way of accessing vital funds for work. Whatever you think about the administration of the process, it is foolhardy to undermine the collection of this valuable data.

"You can complete your questionnaire as soon as you receive it. But make sure your answers are about Sunday 27 March, because this is census day." http://help.census.gov.uk/england/help/help-and-information/AbouttheCensus/Howtotakepart/Topics/WhenshouldIfillinthequestionnaire_W0016A.html

    • I’d also recommend Paul for electrical work. He came round the other week to help us out with a handful of jobs (installing an SPD, new light fittings, installing a dimmer switch, a bathroom fan). His quote was cheaper than what I got from others, he turned up on time and he got the job done quickly.
    • We’d like to add our recommendation for Lukasz and team at L&L Building & Maintenance.  Lukasz has recently installed a roof terrace for us, and we’ve found him a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We contacted about a dozen recommended builders and found his quote very competitive. During the build his team delivered quality work, they were no hassle in the house at all and they kept the place tidy every day. The terrace looks great, and we’re very happy customers. What stood out in particular was Lukasz’s responsiveness, right from discussing quotes to follow-up during the build. Lukasz often checked in and was always available when we needed him.  We’ll definitely contact Lukasz again for future building work and we’d happily recommend him to others looking for a reliable builder.   Lukasz Kugaczewski L&L Building & Maintenance 07926651960 [email protected] www.landl-build.com
    • Yes, I did mention the train, which I now get from East Dulwich to Guys instead of the 40. Depends where in East Dulwich you are starting from which route is easiest! I think it is probably lack of staff rather than lack of hospitals which is the problem?
    • What can be done? How about reporting it to the police?
