Does anyone know please whether it?s necessary to buy tickets in advance or whether they will be sold at the gate? Planning to go but a family thing might get in the way and probably won?t know until the last minute if can make it.

Also, is there likely to be parking near the ground?

Thanks.

No, they'll be back, but it might take a while.

Further ticket information:

The 1500 tickets available in advance have sold out but there will be 2000 available on the gate.

Prices:

?10 for Adults

?5 for Concessions

Concessions cover Seniors (60+), Teenagers (13-19), Unemployed (JSA), NHS Staff, Blue Light Services, Serving Members of the Armed Forces and Full Time Students, Recipients of DLA and Local Authority Workers.

(Please bring a form of valid ID for your concession as you may not be admitted without that)

Under 13s FREE (I think they have to be accompanied)

Your admission allows access to all spectator areas of the stadium including the bar.

Please note: seats are unreserved.

Oh that is good news, I'm not even much of a football fan, the oval ball being more my thing, but knowing what it means to the fans and community it's very pleasing. Hopefully this is a portent for a win over the greedy bugger developers as well and they can start in the higher echelon back at their rightful home!

    • To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!
    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
