...now, I consider myself a fairly robust sort of fella BUT...crying, I'm always at it

- All the obvious ones Funerals/Marriages etc, I'll as likely as not be off

- Minutes silence for Bobby Moore at Upton Park the week after he died, tears straeming down

- Reading Dulce Et Decorum by Owen can do it,

- last week my boy said to my missus when she asked what he wanted to play "can we play pretend dad's not in Ireland" (I work 4 days a week in Ireland) I cried for an hour when she told me this.

- The ending of Toy Story 3...even the second time FFS

Do in need to pull myself together? Is crying alright for men now?

I'm not interested in this thread. I'm just quoting the OP in case he comes back and deletes it. Which if he had any sense, he would have done already.

I couldn't have put it better myself. Well said.

It's good to cry. It's better out than in. It shows you care and have feelings. Real feelings. Bottling your emotions up doesn't do anyone any good at all.

    • Actually, if it was factory fitted then it's location would be documented. It's the fact that it can be fitted in different places which means that it's difficult for thieves to locate.
    • OK, good suggestion and it appears that the after-market price is about £260. But if that that was fitted ex-factory then the cost would be substantially less and certainly a small fraction of the price of a high-end car.
