Post removed as it contained allegations that a named pharmacist is dispensing improperly and is under investigation. It maybe true but the posting would affect such an investigation. Please be careful before posting messages that a named person or business is breaking the law.

Could this be a kind of Universal Defamation (I just want to create a new legal category) whereby the allegation is "A chemist may have done something bad!" Consequently any chemist anywhere in the world would be entitled to issue libel proceedings on the grounds that people may think it COULD have been them?

    • They are very funny at the Herne Hill Oxfam, for a charity book shop, about accepting book donations. Last time I tried to drop off a few bags the woman there was quite cross so I took them right back out, and I will not go back again. Definitely had this very same conversation on this forum before, including about the parking. That time I drove them over to a different charity bookshop in Streatham where - shock horror - they thanked me. And since then I've taken other books in smaller quantities to local charity shops.
