No (we put ours out in the morning, as Mr Pickle has "concerns" that people will go rifling through it!), but that does explain the burning smell that we both walked round the house searching for last night at about 1am! Either you live very close to us on Upland, or others near us had theirs set on fire too.

Just checking, you didn't accidentally put some cardboard in your bin? It might be that you were being made an example of.

I see! Fair point, now *tries not to view everything with such a serious eye*.

Until last Saturday, we had some building materials (mostly chipboard) outside our house. This prompted a letter from the council saying that we were at risk of arson! Apparently it's been a problem over the years.

Cue prompt removal!

They didn't mention recycling bins though.

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you.
