Alan Naish of Naish & Sons Chimney Sweeps did a fantastic job of cleaning our wood burner chimney today. Flue was cleaned and certified quickly and the room was left spotless. Great, friendly and family-run company, and it was lovely hearing it's been passed from father to son since 1870!!! 5 Stars

To add to these well-deserved praises: Alan Naish is absolutely brilliant. He?s punctual, considerate of our home, and he always does a careful and thorough clean of the chimney. He?s neat and tidy, and makes sure everything is put back in its place afterwards. (And he tells me when the brush is poking out of the top of the chimney, so I can go outside and see it - for good luck!) He?s also just a lovely bloke. I wouldn?t have anyone else do this job. And it?s a great price too!

    • Thanks for the advice.  In the end I left the HDMI cable in the HDMI ARC socket but changed the audio output to PCM(stereo or 5.1) in the virgin menu, did a restart and that did the trick. So double thanks to Ianr.  I did do an AI search but didn't go in depth enough so thanks for doing that. 🤝
