Watched Breaking Bad twice (vers easily) still the best thing I've seen on TV, including the obvious competitors.

If anyone is after a good box set I'd recommend Damges. I've said before, it's not in the league of the big players mentioned today, but it's like a good thriller that you read on holiday, LOTS of good twists, and done in a clever way that feeds you just a little bit more each time with flash backs and stuff.

I genuinely enjoyed all 5 seasons.

I loved The Returned. Seriously creepy, which I don't do but was hooked before I realised it was seriously creepy.

Just finished Breaking Bad finally.

Brilliant but very dark and quite hard to watch at times.

I don't see myself rewatching it.

I thoght it had a good dose of comic relief until the last season. Those bad guys were just plain nasty.

A lot of people said the last series got very dark... but for me the last series is where it all started to get really ridiculous, so I didn't find it as engaging as the earlier episodes.

Been watching House of Cards. Only managing it in 20-30 minute chunks, but I get the impression each episode is meant to be a bit more "self contained" than some other stuff...

I kind of agree, but equally the cold blooded killing was ramped up and the comedy was not there, which made it "darker" for want of a better word.

It's all American (well, obviously) and a lot of stuff I never really cared for but finding Sound City (BBC4) very watchable - might be the Tom Petty stuff.
