Try and be original you've already been beaten to the punch on that one. Nice to see supporters of the real Manchester club on the forum now.

Oh course the alternative view is that if you know you can't tackle as long as you have a hole in your bottom, which is the case with Scholes, then you shouldn't try to tackle cos the chances are you will fail, catch someone, and either get carded or sent off, so the fact you already know this smacks of intent everytime he makes a daft attempt at a tackle. Ask Reyes if he thinks Scholes is a nice clean player.

Not at all, we gave them Adebayor, which I think was very nice of us (mind the ?25Mill was nice to). Your trouble is you're so cynical, I'm a nice likeable sort when you get to know me.

Irony certainly didn't make it to Salford, or Trafford Business Park. And the next one please.

Cheers Atila, I doubt you would have said that if I was here in September- Lovely goal by Ade in the 79th min !

And we shall see what is said next Thursday when we dump you out of the League Cup !

Surprised with that as after losing first 7 (with a threadbare team) they looked to be bouncing back. 7 points from their last 6 league games is a better return than Rafa at Liverpool. But that's football isn't it.

Maybe he has been ousted for Avram Grant who did a good job down at Chelsea.

She's fed up with this thread. Think I was the last straw for her, when I took exception to her post, and she took exception to my reply. What can I say, the girl supports her team right to her heart, good luck to her :)-D

Wish she'd come back though, and wish I'd never discussed footy with her, as it's more or less the only thing that we disagreed on.

    • TBH if people don't see what is sectarian in the materials linked to above when they read about them, then I don't think me going on about it will help. They speak for themselves.  I don't know how the Greens can justify promising to be a strong voice for one particular religion. Will that pledge hold when it comes to campaigning in East Dulwich (which is majority atheist)? https://censusdata.uk/e02000836-east-dulwich/ts030-religion
    • Saying one thing so everyone can understand, and something different that only select people can understand is not inclusive, it’s dangerous.
    • I'm not deliberately swerving anything. What exactly have they said in their communications in languages other than English that you object to? Why would they put those communications in other languages when the whole point was to connect with a specific group of people? Apologies if I've missed your point.
    • The point (which you're swerving) is not that the Greens spread their message in a language other than English - it's what they have said, and why they're shy about saying the same thing in other languages, including English. If a party in Northern Ireland circulates leaflets in Ulster Scots only that tells voters to elect them so they can be a strong Protestant voice, and has videos in Ulster Scots only that seek to discredit the First Minister by showing (a propos of nothing) images of them meeting the Pope - is that inclusivity or sectarianism?
