Oh course the alternative view is that if you know you can't tackle as long as you have a hole in your bottom, which is the case with Scholes, then you shouldn't try to tackle cos the chances are you will fail, catch someone, and either get carded or sent off, so the fact you already know this smacks of intent everytime he makes a daft attempt at a tackle. Ask Reyes if he thinks Scholes is a nice clean player.

Just because old whiskey nose claims Scholes cannot tackle does not mean he is immune from the yellow card. He clatters into players with the same precise touch as he does on the ball. He is a dirty player.

She's fed up with this thread. Think I was the last straw for her, when I took exception to her post, and she took exception to my reply. What can I say, the girl supports her team right to her heart, good luck to her :)-D

Wish she'd come back though, and wish I'd never discussed footy with her, as it's more or less the only thing that we disagreed on.
