Arrogant Tosser- not you obviously

I don't know which coverage you were watching BR but Fergie spoke to the reporter on ITV after the game.

Leeds were very good today and we deserved to lose. It's one of those games which Leeds are going to be up for no matter what division they are in so it's no suprise they should pull out a win. It's also a great chance for you and Matt to trot out the same old crap, abuse and insults so that's nice. All I can say is we can now concentrate on the league and the European Cup like Liverpool....oh, hang on...;-)

He didn't speak directly after the game- he spoke later

Lol Matt ! SP- the crap we spout? Oh, is it a case of not liking being on the losing side and things not going Fungiscums way? He argued that 5mins ET wasn't enough and then refused to talk to reporters DIRECTLY after the game- ITV cut short there programming because of this (3mins 40 sec) And you lot call us Bitter Blues ! PMSL, Leeds well done
Well done Leeds indeed. I don't mind losing to a better side on the day we've lost to City a few times in the last few years, sometimes heavily, and I have no problem with that. I don't like losing but it's par for the course. I just don't understand the name calling of the manager and balls about previous victories. I've seen a picture of you. You like like a gentleman of a certain age, don't you think you are a bit old for all that?

Er, I think you've misread Keef and included SPs comments, unless i'm mistaken or Ferguson said something else.....Once again I find myself reluctantly sticking up for Man U/Ferguson in the face of a load of crap....plenty of mangers don't speak to the media immediately after a defeat (even Zola) Wegner does it frequently...wish you'd all f*ckin grow up....I actually dislike Liverpool more than I used to now as a result of the EDF

yup, I'm pissed off with losing to Arse

Oh come on, ITV were taking the piss throughout- comments like "So how much time will be added if Utd are still a goal behind?"

Studio team at the end said Oh well, he doesn't want to talk to us- Sorry Sandperson-nothing personal truly, but I think the shine and love for Man U is wearing thin from the media, Ferguson HAS been a fantastic manager but something is going wrong, debts are building, squad is not playing and injuries are building.

I'm not saying its because of the money plowed into City, turns my stomach tbh, but the media ARE Glory hunters- they can make or break a team (media backing=better sponsorship/TV exposure.

Yes, I'm laughing at todays result but as a life long Blue (41 yrs) my laughter won't last long

People have always got it in for Fergie but he is and has been an absolutely fantastic manager. As for Wemger, I love the fact that he promotes good football but he is a very sour loser. He was full of praise for West Ham today only because they lost. I have NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER heard him praise a team that Arsenal have lost to !!

I can't count the amount of times in the last two decades when I've heard that we are in crisis. I don't buy it but I guess we'll see. Even a trophyless season, whilst not being ideal, is not a disaster. We have long term sponsorship deals in place and a well balanced (when all fit) playing staff, with a good mix of youth and experience. I'm losing patience with Berbatov and Anderson but I think there's a lot of quality there and we'll be ok. One loss to a lower division side in the FA Cup doesn't make a crisis. We're in the title hunt, we qualified easily for Europe and we should be getting a few players back from injury. Let's see how we are in May.

As for ITV or other channels losing their love, that's just laughable. It works both ways. United will have brought in a big audience for the game today and their Champions League games. Audiences bring in advertising revenue. I would have thought that the suits at ITV were cursing their luck that United went out at such an early stage with the state of advertising revenue at the moment.

Wellbeck has never impressed me and he's had a lot of chances. Berbartov and Keane have not been the same since they were seperated. With regards to United's form you, cannot lose the best player in the world and not be effected by it. Also they are missing all their defence. They will improve once Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra and Oshea are back. Anyway...I'm a Spurs fan and I truly believe we'll win the cup this year !

People have it in for Ferguson because he is arrogant-his obvious "Should've headed" to Rooney and his obvious "Oh F*CK OFF" to the fourth who said ONLY 5mins added sums this up- maybe that is good trait for management, can't argue he has had major success but he has also been one of the longest continuous managers and unlike modern management, he was given 5 years to actually acheive something- but to refuse to give an impromptu end of game tv interview doesn't do him any favours. He refuses to speak to BBC anymore cos he was asked the question "Where did your tactics go wrong?" several tears ago.

I feel he is sweating.

Well, I think that's a crazy conclusion but fair enough. Have you ever seen the interview with him after Aberdeen won the Scottish cup? Slagging his players etc. He's impetuous, sometimes arrogant, petulant and many other things but he knows how to play the game and he knows what he's doing, so long live the purple faced, drunkard.

    • He did mention it's share of freehold, I’d be very cautious with that. It can turn into a nightmare if relationships with neighbours break down. My brother had a share of freehold in a flat in West Hampstead, and when he needed to sell, the neighbour refused to sign the transfer of the freehold. What followed was over two years of legal battles, spiralling costs and constant stress. He lost several potential buyers, and the whole sale fell through just as he got a job offer in another city. It was a complete disaster. The neighbour was stubborn and uncooperative, doing everything they could to delay the process. It ended in legal deadlock, and there was very little anyone could do without their cooperation. At that point, the TA6 form becomes the least of your worries; it’s the TR1 form that matters. Without the other freeholder’s signature on that, you’re stuck. After seeing what my brother went through, I’d never touch a share of freehold again. When things go wrong, they can go really wrong. If you have a share of freehold, you need a respectful and reasonable relationship with the others involved; otherwise, it can be costly, stressful and exhausting. Sounds like these neighbours can’t be reasoned with. There’s really no coming back from something like this unless they genuinely apologise and replace the trees and plants they ruined. One small consolation is that people who behave like this are usually miserable behind closed doors. If they were truly happy, they’d just get on with their lives instead of trying to make other people’s lives difficult. And the irony is, they’re being incredibly short-sighted. This kind of behaviour almost always backfires.
    • I had some time with him recently at the local neighbourhood forum and actually was pretty impressed by him, I think he's come a long way.
    • I cook at home - almost 95% of what we eat at home is cooked from scratch.  But eating out is more than just having dinner, it is socialising and doing something different. Also, sometimes it is nice to pay someone else to cook and clear up.
    • Yup Juan is amazing (and his partner can't remember her name!). Highly recommend the wine tastings.  Won't be going to the new chain.
