Celtic losing 2-1 to Dunfermline in the FA Cup. Hopefully we will lose and Tony Mowbray can go with the speed and efficiency that John Barnes was despatched after the Super Cally fiasco a few years ago. Mowbray has the arrogance to leave McGeady and Keane on the bench for a game that is all he has left this season.

Liked the no nonsense approach from Capello on Terry questions today

Great result for Liverpool yesterday, the players really fired themselves up for this one. Thought the Reds looked more comfortable with 10 men and just shows you don't need 2 holding midfielders and as a result Lucas had something to do and showed his quality.

We still are the same old City unfortunately ! Ade and Toure were bloody useless, Viera booked within 5 mins of play. We are seriously missing Dunne at the back. I feel some of the players are listening to the hype but not living up to it. I would've thought that Robinho would have been a wake up call- No-one is bigger than the club but it seems to fallen on deaf ears. We are not out of the race but unless we beat Bolton on Tuesday, we have squandered our 3 game in hand advantage

Really? I've seen good managers sacked for a lot less. Why is he untouchable? I think he has blinkers and can be tactically deficient. What Arsenal lacked today was a Drogba-like, big strong striker who is good in the air, can hold the ball up and can finish. He had the nearest thing in Adebayor and sold him. Bad decision. As a consequence all Arsenal's play is now in front of the opposing defence. They never get behind their opponents. There is no real width and I rarely ever see an Arsenal player get to the byline and get a cross in. The reason is probably because they don't have anyone in the box who can head the crosses in.

Also they are terrible at defending set pieces. I have heard, from a coaching contact, that Arsenal don't practice defending corners. It shows. Wenger has one way of playing in his mind and no plan B. Even Barcelona, who are the best team in the world, recognised that they needed a big strong striker in the summer and they went out and splashed the cash on Ibrahimovic.

Wenger should be under pressure.

    • Yes it would be easier, and I give a lot to the hospice shops, but for various reasons there are certain things I prefer to give to Oxfam. However I might go through the books and see if some could be donated more locally. I think in any charity shop staffed by volunteers, the reception you get must depend on the member of staff. The Oxfam bookshop have always been very happy when I've taken shedloads of books there in the past. On the other hand, I've taken things to the hospice shop that were received very grumpily when they hadn't even looked in the bag or asked what they were. It felt like I was being a nuisance and causing them more work. I don't remember a previous thread on here  about the Oxfam shop and parking, but that's possibly because it wasn't relevant to me at the time.
    • The other side of P13 drivers being risk averse is that I  have been on P13s at night that speeded (?sped?) down Underhill Road so fast I seriously thought they might crash.
    • Some P13 drivers appear very risk averse. I live in Underhill and on that road drivers are forced to back away, often considerable distances, from buses to allow them to pass, even when the bus has an immediate space it could back into. The driver at the time said that buses 'weren't allowed to back'. So reports of cars 'blocking' P13s might mean simply that the car was legally parked but the road too narrow,or the bus driver not prepared to risk advancing. NB some P13 drivers are both skilled and courteous, but not all.
    • I’ve experienced the same in Herne Hill. It’s definitely linked to where there are already marked bays, it prevents you from parking within approx 200-400 metres around the bay. Dulwich Village has quite a few bays, which probably explains why you’ve noticed it there and not elsewhere.
